I'm saying if we STAY at 3rd overall.........no trade partner. Who's the best non-QB player???????
Surtain? I’m not following college football as much this year but it sounds like he’s the closest thing to a shut down corner. Dline and LB needs help too.

Tackle from Oregon. Him and the 2 QBS are the only 3 that truely feel like top 5 pick worthy

I would 100% take him. People will whine about investing more in the o-line but reality is tackle is the 3rd most valueable postion and it's not like we have had a sharks tank of draft capital invested in it (La'el was supplementary draft, Tyron was drafted almost 10 years ago, Doug Free was a 4th rounder back in 2007)

Parsons in a trade down and Leatherwood makes me happy. Then Safety in the second.

Luckily since both La'el and Tyron has surgery early in the season they will be able to be properply evaluated before the draft. If they both get a clean bill of health then they will probably push OT farther down the list but still address it

I think that's a compelling argument, actually. It's totally possible Stephen looks at the numbers and decides he'd rather build around a low cost QB.
The Joneses want Dak back but France wants a record breaking contract. The Joneses will offer Dak a good contract but I am not sure what happens if France rejects the offer. If the Cowboys get a top 3 pick it changes everything. By the way I think Fields and Wilson are close. Closer then Fields is too Lawrence. We will see.

Too much money tied up with the OL. If we want to replace Williams, they can do that later in the draft. It is a total waste to play Sewell at Guard.
Considering that the OL is the largest unit on a team, there should be a huge investment. Those big contracts are starting to drop off in the next couple of years due to the aging and injuries. The OL is also the only unit that can improve not only the offense, but the defense as well, so I have no problem with paying big bucks for top OLinemen.

Tankathon has us at 3. Draft order goes by strength of schedule. Since Cowboys and Giants are in the same division there schedule is identical except for two games. Cowboys have Vikings and Falcons (6-12 combined). Giants have Bucs and Bears (11-7 combined record). Cowboys are deemed the worse team because they have an identical record with an easier schedule.

Not a huge fan but if Aldon Smith isnt resigned you have to look at DE from Miami or Basham. You can't go into the year with Dlaw and Gregory and thats it. Dlaw is just begging to miss some games for the rest of his career or play injured for the rest.

I want you to know I think you're wrong and it's not worth debating because if you haven't seen it by now from Dak, for whatever reason, you never will.
You would've let me know all that by not responding. Like I said you just wanted to post. You,haven't saw it by now from Dak either you're just another person who is easily fooled like most people in the world. You are also wrong on I've never saw it. It just happens it happened his rookie, year and he has been close to,that player since. Outside of inflated stats to juice up the stans he's been ok since.

Look top three pick.
You trade back. U take someone's draft.
If you move back to the top 10 you must get there 1st, 2nd and maybe a 3rd or 4th depending.
And if you do this. Then its very simple.
Parsons LB Penn1st round
Then
Jobe CB Bama
And Brown OG Bama

Then in the third round you can find a safety maybe like Bolden from Miami or LeCounte from Georgia.

After that find the steals

I believe there are three qbs everyone wants. As it stands now you’d have to figure keys go Lawrence and jags take fields. Trey lance is sort of a wild card... how bad do teams want him?
if we could somehow get to number 2 we could really ask a team for a lot to Move up.

We still may be able to at 3. Then if you pay dak you can really revamp this defense in one offseason.

this team is still built to win now. Hitting on defenders to go with LVE... dlaw... Awuzie and Diggs would be huge
