Would you have tanked for Ryan Leaf?

Tanking here is probably for a 3-5 pick which in this draft should be traded for more draft capital and then the resulting picks should go towards defense.

That being the case and the fact that they already have a top 5-7 qb in dak that they will resign, says any tanking won’t result in a qb drafted no matter how you slice it

I don't understand why someone would want to lose on purpose to draft a player that is not proven. Could put us back another 10 years.......
Now ask us if we would have tanked for Mahomes, Rodgers, Watson, Wilson, Hubert, Burrows etc.
Man, you have to have a better argument than the idiotic one you just posted!!

There is a risk with every QB in this draft and the QB right now is a known.

However, there is a greater risk. Assuming the Joneses will take the money they're not giving Prescott and fix the D and OL.

There is the distinct possibility that they not only back up with the QB position but not fix the team. One thing we have, history of how they run the team and few feel good about that.

You make too much sense...the quitters aren't going to like you.

The answer in No. Ryan Leaf was a dumb guy. Dumb guys with big arms always tank in the NFL. JaMarcus Russell...BIG arm, little brain. That combo always fails.
Thank you for a straight answer.

Actually, it is a righteous argument. It was 50/50 for Leaf/Manning and I can remember some saying it wasn't even close, Leaf is the guy. Leaf had more buzz coming in that any of those QB's you mentioned. The worst thing anyone could say was they couldn't go wrong with either one.

We're playing two games here. One is the grass is always greener and the other is these Bozos will build a better team around one of these blue chippers in this draft. Regardless of the QB, if they don't build a better team, doesn't matter.
