Good points, all. He could easily become a lucky pickup or one that carries risk if it's handled improperly. With our FO involved, take your pick.

I'm hoping having a different head coach would mean we wouldn't hold on to mistakes. We didn't with Dix and eventually parted ways with Poe and Worley as well this season. That gives me some hope.

Agreed. As long as we don't mess things up and commit to something that proves harmful. Hopefully, good sense will prevail. ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if he's in for a looksee as we speak. If he's as dense as some think, good coaching must serve him well.

Agree. I'm hoping McC has some Tuna in him, and can convince Jerry to "go against his instincts".

Sign him see if he can play. He was talented enough to be selected in the 1st round a year ago and was cut for reasons other than play.

We gave talentless worley a shot this year. Sign him see if he can play if not boot him no harm no foul.
Was overdrafted.

Has some ability but needs serious coaching.

Maybe Al Harris is the guy that gets him right.

I've seen stranger things.

I'm just trying to say this guy isnt a finished product or even close.

He is probably worth the risk for Dallas given all else, but once Stephen realizes he isnt going to play for free they will pass.

Well, I wouldn't necessarily count on Baker making our need for a starting corner go away, but we could hope.

I wouldn't either, and he didn't play well for NYG during his rookie season. But he still has potential and is only 23.

Stephen will make sure to sign him for a respectable deal or he probably won't be signed at all. That's one thing he'll be sure to take seriously. What I'm mainly concerned with is that he doesn't have a negative effect on the locker room. Let's see what develops first, though. He might get a looksee and be sent packing, if things don't go well. At least, we're trying to improve.

We ain't looking at anyone. Jerry took care of the anonymous voices, and he won't make that mistake again. Better to groom complacent guys who know their place.
