I just think hes a waste of a roster spot.

Might be. He'd need to get very serious about his technique work and not try to get by mostly on ability to have a chance of being successful. Although I don't doubt his hustle, I'm not sure he has the discipline for that.

I'm not ready to write players off after a couple of seasons, since we've seen the light go on for some in their third or fourth year, but we definitely need to see him move in the right direction next year to keep him around. The positive this year is that he was better than last year, but that bar was so low, he didn't have to do much to raise it.

umm you in opposite land

IF Pounce can be thrown back lie ragdoll by a rookie that much worse then Cwill getting knocked back a few times a year and most of the time its PB Defender not a rookie..point missed much? but thanks for making mine..

My gosh...

Yes, C-Will and Pouncey both have been knocked = same quality of player.

No. I was just having fun. But thanks for ruining that. Fans are way to wound tight this year.
I too was just having fun but I believe it was you that made the first move to ruin that, so don't expect any sympathy from me if your fun got ruined as well. The irony of your complaint is that you are the fan wound the tightest.

And he seems to have great character, work ethic, and a humility about him.

You never know, because we don't truly know these guys, but I can't see him falling for a bunch of Hot Boyz hype nonsense or worrying about his business mogul status like Jaylon Smith.

I know his family from here in Canada. Coached his 2 older bros - great family where respect, work ethic and a fierce competitiveness are paramount and they never make excuses. He came from very humble beginnings. I am extremely confident he will be a zero-maintenance guy.

He had the worst pff rating of any dt. Hes soft and a headcase. Hes on Taco trajectory. If you had to bet would you confidently bet Hill makes the team next year? My money would be on no
taco was benched often after his rookie season Hill isnt Taco IMHO

nope goig to take 3 times i guess, you have the MIssthepointitis!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cwill should not be destroyed for occasionally get knocked back lime ragdoll when it happens to all pro players as well..picking on a player like Cwill is pointless because it happens to all payers a handful of times year..

last time if it can happen to layer like Pouncy for sure it happens to lessor players like Cwill so every time it happens how about not post likes hes alone..

need it again?

I think Gallimore will be a stud on the inside. Especially with this experience and add a normal type of training camp next year. We just need another one like him in there. With heart and a motor---which it appears Hill does not have. Hope i'm wrong but so far he hasn't shown either. Playing defense like Woods, giving 100% sometimes, just does not cut it.

Has C-Will demonstrated and recognized for the ability to play like an All Pro?

Not sure why anyone is surprised because he had a lot of upside. I knew with time this guy would bring it.

OU does have a history of providing great DT to the pros. Just off the top of my head are the Selmon Brothers, Casillas, Tommie Harris, McCoy, now this guy...i am sure i am leaving some out. But great for Gallimore.

Ohhhh-kaay. I apologize if my attempt at humor ruined your attempt at humor, I didn't know that only one was allowed.

I humbly bow in acknowledgement of your rapier wit and manly manliness.

Hill had some flashes, but he was still too often being washed out. His game is based on his burst. If he doesn't get an edge with his initial quickness, he gets too high trying to fight off the OL, which allows them to get the leverage and move him out of the way. He showed good hustle, but it's technique that's still killing him. In college, he simply was quicker off the snap than many of the OL he faced. On this level, he hardly ever can get that advantage so he needs to learn to rely on strength, leverage, hand placement, etc. It isn't that he doesn't try hard and hustle, but as the saying goes, work smarter, not harder.
Hill seems to me to play too high
When he gets straight up he loses leverage
I think a lot of his issues last year was from the fact he could dominate in college without full effort
Hopefully he can learn more technique and learn that playing with the big boys requires full effort and technique every play

Don't even! Just walk away. And know for future reference any attempt at humor by you on one of my posts will be relentlessly ridiculed by me, so why start?
