I'm only going by what babe said during the game and what brodious said on the post game show..that the pass was exactly where it was supposed to go but ceedee cut it short..like I said,no biggie,we won and it was a great catch.Interesting. I hadn't heard that. I did hear a guy on dallascowboys.com media (Jessie Holley, I think) repeatedly say it was a terrible pass. Made me curious to check it out. As I understand the QB's are usually throwing to a spot on those plays.
What's weird is that Holley said the play was supposed to go to corner pylon, but he never evaluated where Ceedee was actually running.
LOl @steve making friends fast here in the zoneWow...you just can't get's dak sack outta yer trap...can ya? SO Dak is above ANY slight criticism? One little thing set you off huh?
I didn't even say anything BAD...just one thing to improve on. And you go ape sheet. Unbelievable. Just unbelievable.
And ...tell me...give me some examples of me "can;t help myself from "attacking" Dak".
You won't because you..... CAN'T PERIOD> end of story. You're the type that will probably even claim I have to show YOU.
I could buy that the throw was supposed to go to the pylon. But he wasn't even close to the pylon. It's a bad throw no matter what the route was supposed to be.You make a great point! People with their bias and agenda...they won't try to see all the possibilities. Andy is a real vet even if not GOAT. Ceedde is a youngster. It's not implausible Andy threw it where the play is supposed to go.
Ultimately...you build on this...as experience , rapport and trust. I think it's one thing Dak needs to improve on.....trust the play. trust the players. Throw it where the receiver is SUPPOSED to be...not where he is when you saw him. If Dak can do THAT...he will make a superb QB.

They also ran the same play later, and the route was still flat. Andy missed CD wide.
Andy is a real vet. He's proven that he can't throw, so he doesn't really get benefit of the doubt.
Did you read the first line? lolWell...since you say so. So glad you were in the huddle! THANKS!
LOl @steve making friends fast here in the zone
Did you read the first line? lol
You don't have to be in the huddle to see that the ball was nowhere close to the pylon.
It was either a poor route or poor pass. I'm guessing CeeDee cut the route short, but we'll never know unless one of them comments on it.
By your own logic of trust and anticipation, that ball has to go to the sideline or to the pylon.Yes I read it.
But that doesn't mean that it wasn;t thrown where it was supposed to be.
A GREAT catch by CeeDee. Astounding.
Hey star...I didn't really want to post that. It was unbecoming and I admit it. But this notion that you can't say anything about Dak...is absolutely ridiculous.
And that I incessantly attack Dak...is absolutely ridiculous. I have even offered money to give some examples of me unfairly "attacking" Dak and no one can do it.
I am no friends with anyone who lies about me.
If we were to honestly search my posts....we most assuredly would find me "attacking" zeke more than Dak. I even called zeke fat...lol?
We have been assuming that it was a terrible pass and maybe it was. But *if* Ceedee was supposed to run towards the back corner pylon...the pass was perfect and the route wasn't run correctly. Either way: stunning catch.
Watch the clip: Ceedee was *not* running towards pylon.
(I don't claim to know how route was designed)
lol in here its probably guilt by association man. If you have liked any post in regards to Dak that came from Willie b or Pappy or Khalidi just to name a few Or post that aren't from them that they liked then you run the risk of getting lumped in as a dak hater. I like Dak but not near as much as AC but i hope he's our QB for years and the criticism he takes is unrealistic and over the top. But he is not without his flaws and you brought one up. although he has made lots of improvement even in that area but it just seems like every missed throw gets over analyzed
all QBs miss throws and Dak is already a top 10 QB you can argue where at in the top 10 but he's there. If you look at it this way. AC likes Dak as much or more than you like Zeke and will come to his defense just like you do Zeke . Its fandom at its best we are a diverse group and it probably why we are loathed by so many other teams fans.
and yes i like Dak more than i like Zeke but Dak is 3rd or 4th maybe 5th on my favorites list. Behind CeeDee ,Amari, Martin and Michael Gallup but man that dude ticked me off Sunday
NOPE!...that isn't what I mean at all...about the pylon. By "trust"...I mean Eli to to Toomer/Hicks/Cruz trust. Eli flings it down and those receivers would flat out locate and catch the ball. Eli...IMHO one of the luckiest QB ever with the WR's he's had.By your own logic of trust and anticipation, that ball has to go to the sideline or to the pylon.
It didn't go to either. There's no scenario in which that is a good throw, especially since we saw them run the same play again, and the route still didn't go to the pylon.
Steve cmon man weve been in the same threads. You have been seen talking directly to people who were critical of Zeke saying that people have so much hate for him thats not coming to his defense? its pretty much AC in reverse. I have seen you say a few critical things about the fumbles and the contract but you have directly rebuttaled me in defense of Zeke. You are more critical of Dak then you are Zeke. Now maybe you have a feeling that youve done a 180 on Zeke last 18 months and maybe you have looked at him differently but you are still heavily leaning Zekes direction and thats fine its fandom but for you to say you dont come to his defense is false.Problem is...no I don;t "come to zeke's defense". Maybe 3-4 years ago, sure! Now....nope. I have been highly critical the last 18 months. Not aria or roy sized critical...but yes.
Other than that...with you 110%
So you want Dak to just get lucky by throwing jump balls, and you think the Dalton throw was good because it was 50/50?NOPE!...that isn't what I mean at all...about the pylon. By "trust"...I mean Eli to to Toomer/Hicks/Cruz trust. Eli flings it down and those receivers would flat out locate and catch the ball. Eli...IMHO one of the luckiest QB ever with the WR's he's had.
Trust them to go get it.
I'm no expert...but I stand by opinion that you...we..okay me....don;t know what kind of play and throw it really was. It certainly could have been a little short...sure.
By "trust" and "rapport" these kinds of plays can help build that if they keep working on it.

I can openly admit in terms of players on this team and my like level Zeke is towards the bottom of the list but I do root for him on Sunday and that's ok too its my fandom. Go back and look through the threads I think you'll see well maybe i forgot I said that.
bottom line is this team is nothing without the quality oline. It has been what has catapulted them to the success they had and part of why they have slipped. As the line goes so goes Zeke and Dak as well although the talent hes had at WR may be a driving force their as well.
"fight the good fight fight dre. Lotta haters up in here." this is only 1 there's lots more Steve
But I digress its youre right to feel as you do as it is everyone else in here even if its a tad annoying as it is with consistent trollers. I get it though there are lots of motives in here. Im not suppose to call out names but thers a dude here with a signature of Dak being carted off and crying and its in his sig because to him its payback for those that carried the Romo fumbled snap in their sig. We Dallas fans are a crazy bunch
Yes...that is because you've muddled it up ..a lot. You are trying to drill down a little too much. Not sure why you are trying to trap me...this doesn't seem like a discussion anymore....if it ever was.So you want Dak to just get lucky by throwing jump balls, and you think the Dalton throw was good because it was 50/50?
I've totally lost your point.
