Dak is clearly the best QB of those 3, but these stats actually indicate the gap isnt nearly as wide as I would have thought.
Think the other two had a better surrounding cast especially early in their careers. That philly team was about as close to stacked as what you’ll ever see in the salary cap era!

was watching the Rams game the other week and they said over the last 3 seasons Goff has been one of the top 3 winning QBs.
Say what you want about McVay reading and calling plays but Goff can throw strikes at key moments.

and over their careers?

Stats for 75 games possibly played

A) 17,240 passing yards
103 TDs
52 Ints
92 QBR
147 rushing attempts
270 yards rushing
8TDs
19 Fumbles lost

B) 17,634 passing yards
106 TDs
40 Ints
97.3 QBR
259 rushing attempts
1,314 rushing yards
24TDs
18 Fumbles lost

C) 16,732 passing yards
113 TDs
50 Ints
89.4 QBR
255 rushing attempts
1043 rushing yards
8TDs
23 fumbles lost

If you chose option A- you selected Jared Goff
If you chose option B- you selected Dak Prescott
If you chose option C- you selected Carson Wentz

But let's face it, everyone picked option B.
Nice stats, thanks for posting

All CZ homers say Wentz is trash (and I agree to an extent) but looking at these stats it is pretty evident that if Wentz is trash then Dak is trash-lite

also, if you add in the playoff records of these QBs it will obvious that NONE of them deserve 30-35 mill/y let alone 37-40. The only difference between us and the Eagles is that we haven’t paid Dak yet

so, yes, you made some good points but just not the one you thought you were making

People can state that Wentz has been trash this season - sure that's fine as he has had a poor season. But his previous three seasons were 33-7, 21-7 and 27-7 in terms of TD to INT ratio. Hardly trash is it and he's a former All Pro QB. If people just label him as a trash QB without qualifying their statement then it's simply incorrect.

It's clear that when he doesn't have a good offensive line he struggles, like most quarterbacks. He was playing pretty well during his rookie season until Lane Johnson missed ten games through suspension - his performances dipped significantly during those games. He then played well for three years including an All Pro season and he has been all over the place this season. I think it's pretty clear that he has struggled to process reads even when he has had time to throw the ball as the line has generally been poor. He might never come back to the level he showed over the previous three years and he could effectively be done but we don't know that for sure as of yet.

Should add YPA, Sacks, and Fumbles (who cares if they were lost or not)

The stats do not show which of the three had the worst offensive line over those games...clearly A was the answer to that question so given that the throwing stats are fairly similar i'm rocking with A all day long.
Yet b had the most drops of his wrs multiple years.

Philly had good OLines. Every year lane johnson kelce and peters were compared to our oline.

Both play well with good OLines. Dak plays better when he doesn't have a good OLine based on this years small sample.

Dak is more consistent, wentz will make more wow and huh? Throws.

Ok, so Dak is better than Wentz and Goff. Why not compare him to other quarterbacks during their last 5 years? Here's one.

1.) 18,976 Passing yards
152 TDs
44 INTs
QBR- Unknown to me
370 Rushing attempts
1,097 Rushing yards
8 TDs
Fumbles lost. Unknown to me. He had over 40 fumbles counting lost and recovered. So probably close to the other 3.

Or this guy.

2.) 19,679 Passing yards
131 TDs
52 INTs
QBR - N/A
174 Rushing attempts
538 Rushing yards
10 TDs
Fumbles lost. Unknown, but total fumbles was around 40+

Want to hazard a guess as to who these two are?

I always wondered why he didn't have a real football in his hands while doing this dance.
It's a solo not a duet. He'll have a football with him on "Dancing wit the Stars" and they'll come in 2nd.

Doesn't matter honestly if SB is the goal. With the way this team is built we need a better QB. Foles, flacco, Goff, types got alot of help from their defense which we never have. The rams had talent on offense but none of them had a 2 time back to back rushing champ, top 5 OL, top 20 receiver with dez before injury then cooper, hof TE, all at the same time.

Well, I picked on base of:
  1. You have to score points, so I want the guy with the most TDs
  2. You have to protect the ball, so I want the guy with the least turnovers
In both cases, that is "QB B".
