Beasley should have been retained

I am still not 100% convinced Lamb is superstar material.
1. I have yet to see him run away from a defender be it a slant or a go route etc.
2. Also haven't seen an ability to break a tackle.
He looked good at OU beating up on the Alcorn States of the world but needs a good bit of improvement.
He has also dropped two gimme touchdowns as in eyes closed, hands tied behind your back yet should still be caught type drops

All he does is get open, make plays, moves the chains, and score touchdowns every now and then.

He's a great player and one that shouldn't have been let walk away.

Huge mistep in letting him go.
Dallas wouldnt use him enough and when he ran deeper routes Dak would over throw him or under throw him.

I agree! He has showed potential by his smooth route running but he doesnt run away from defenders and he has a couple of critical drops for TDs and 3rd down conversions.

Sorry I’m taking all 3 of our receivers over Beasley. I liked the dude, but after the catch? Contested catches?

Would we really be better if we kept Beasley, Hitchens, Wilson, Byron, and the safety on the Raiders? Then let go Zeke, Jaylon, and Tank. I don’t know but at least the front office would have shown some guts against holdouts and would have taken care of loyal players. The Beaz and Byron were as loyal as they come in this league.

I'd rather have Lamb on a rookie deal for 5 years.

All you yahoos complaining about Dak getting too much yet you want to overpay for Beasley? It was a smart cap management move and our WR’s are all better than he is and cheaper.

We could've afforded him. He's only costing about $7 million on average. Well worth it for what he brings to an offense.

There's no only. That $7m is being carried over to pay for Dak.

If we'd signed him for $7m that would leave just $44m for 2021, if we use the Base Salary Cap of $176m which many are using.

Great.... 4 good WR's but no DT's and we wonder what's wrong with the team.

53 catches for 650 yards and 4 TD's blows 66 catches for 797 yards and 4 TD's out of the water..

Sure thing.

Let me get this straight, you want to make an argument why we would be better off with Cole Beasley rather than CD Lamb? Cool, please proceed. It should be fun laughing at you.

All that money tied up in receivers was and is stupid..so was paying EE what they did, what other team In the league does that? Waste of money and resources for what this team really needed.

What do you mean priority?

Cole Beasley from day one quit on this team. Anyone else would've cut him and let him go home. This team gave him plenty of respect....far more than he gave them.
Huh?

How many replays did we see that showed him wide open only for our QB not to find him. It was ridiculous. He had every right to be upset. I would take his attitude over Cooper's any day. Cooper is great when things are going his way and the weather is nice. Give me a guy who's mad over apathetic every day. I will admit the way he did complain was immature.

Now I wouldn't have paid him the money he was given, at that time it made no sense. But I would argue having him over Gallup because they don't seem to use him the way they should. All Cole does is make plays that do not make the highlight reels but are important to the outcome of games.

That is a Cap hell myth. We could have afforded Beasley but Stephen wasn’t going to allow it after Beasley questioned Linenhan / Garrett archaic game plans

I was always be a fan of the little guy. And he did play damn well last night.

But to act like he would have been some savior of this team is silly. I like our wr's we have now.
