Beaz was a Fall Guy Nominee on this board......maybe it's the offensive scheme that needed to be and should be a Fall Guy Nominee.

All he does is get open, make plays, moves the chains, and score touchdowns every now and then.

He's a great player and one that shouldn't have been let walk away.

Huge mistep in letting him go.
Plus he's an awesome rapper, just ask his wife. I am glad that diva is gone.

Always liked Beasley and underrated by alot of Cowboys fans however in the end it was the best move for both parties. That being said I wanted to keep him. His wife on twitter was *** annoying though.

He got paid and got away from this cancer culture. Win for him

He is a nice player but it was time for him to go. This is more of a big play offense without him here.

He's not a great player. However, he had value, yes Dallas got similar production out of Cobb - for one year. Now Cobb is gone, Dallas couldn't afford him.

Could have signed Beasley for a 4 year deal and he'd still be here. Lamb is likely a future no. 1 receiver, Cowboys will still need a slot receiver when Lamb is a no. 1 or even no. 2 receiver.

Jerry/Stephen don't know how to build a team, that's been obvious for 25 years....

A QB with a gun like Josh Allen makes every receiver look better.

As soon as a former player plays well we see a post pop up questioning the decision makers that let them walk. Beasley was one of a handful of players we probably all wanted back, but not for the money he was offered. He's continued to be productive player as expected, but you can't retain everyone. Unless a player becomes a all-pro after leaving Dallas, I rarely grow concerned with who we let leave.

Players like Beasley, Hitchens are nice players but not superstars. Byron Jones is having a very good season in Miami, but still hasn't turned the ball over.

If the Cowboys would have kept Cole Beasley, they wouldn't have drafted Lamb.

I would much rather have CeeDee Lamb!

Lol y'all said Cobb was an upgrade over Beasley. Don't forget that.

2019.

Randall Cobb caught 55 balls for 828 yards and 3 TDs. He was the team's third WR.

Cole Beasley caught 67 for 778 and 6 TDs. He was the team's 2nd or 1st (depending on how you view John Brown, who to me isn't a #1 WR).

Cobb cost less than Beasley.

Yeah, the Cowboys made the right move.

So wait, are you saying we could have had Lamb, Beasley, Cooper and Gallup? Yeah, that wouldn't have happened. They likely would have gone Chaisson then in the draft and not Lamb.

I'll trade Beasley every minute of every day of every week of every month of every year for Lamb.

Calm down, the Cowboys wouldn't have had any more success with Beasley.

The best thing that happened to Cole was getting away from the Cowboys.

Exactly, he was just another player who's career was being wasted. Fortunately for him, he realized this and wasn't going to resign here. I'm glad to see him go somewhere and have success. He apparently is happy there so all good.

It is funny to watch him making 30 yard gains. So many on this board said he couldn't offer anything more than short completions.

Beasley left after the 2018 season. What has Lamb got to do with whether or not the Cowboys should have kept Beasley in 2019?

Nothing. We're talking about what the Cowboys should have, or could have, done in 2019, Lamb didn't become available until this year....

Huh?

How many replays did we see that showed him wide open only for our QB not to find him. It was ridiculous. He had every right to be upset. I would take his attitude over Cooper's any day. Cooper is great when things are going his way and the weather is nice. Give me a guy who's mad over apathetic every day. I will admit the way he did complain was immature.

Now I wouldn't have paid him the money he was given, at that time it made no sense. But I would argue having him over Gallup because they don't seem to use him the way they should. All Cole does is make plays that do not make the highlight reels but are important to the outcome of games.

No he literally did quit on this team before his career ever got started. A lot of the guys took issue with it, until Cole eventually won them over.

We put a raw 4th round prospect in as starter. It sucks for the guys trying to earn a contract but Dak needed time, like almost every other qb in history. Cole may have been upset about how things went, but he also owes Dallas some gratitude for pulling him back off the streets and helping him to become the player he is today.

If memory serves Cobb did a pretty even job of taking Beasleys spot for a season and then CD coming in the next year made it a smooth transition. Cole was great, but we ended up better anyways.

Which guys took issue with it?

I don't remember any players talking about a UDFA walking out of camp and coming back. Who complained?
