We've seen these LB'ers play better. Either the entire defense is playing IN-PROTEST of Nolan or they have just lost all skills. Guys that play in protest of a coach, not sure I want them on my team if they aren't man enough to approach the coach. These are grown men, not babies. Can you imagine any of these guys having to win a damn real war for us? Waaah..I don't like what my Drill Sgt. made me do. Wahhh!

Nothing was more of a Jaylon play than early on when he made a tackle on 3rd at 14 after a 13 yard catch, and made the '4th down' gesture which he was celebrating. Ravens went for it on 4th down and scored a TD. It was so obvious that they would go for it there.

He's not that far down though. The guy is a liability every game. He can't change direction. He can't diagnose plays. He just stands there.

I wouldn't say far down. Linebackers are key to stopping the run and especially big runs. We have the worst run defense in the league. Now we also have the worst GM, injured players, heinously bad secondary, so yes lots of problems but Jaylon is certainly top 10. Everyone has injuries this year so that's not an excuse to me.(most on Offense and we are still a top 10 unit)..Jaylon needs to be upgraded somehow...

The defense is designed for the LBs to be the playmakers. Poor LB play is near the top of our problems on defense.

I actually agree with you. Gotta go to the head of the snake....the defense as a whole is lost but because he plays linebacker he gets blame. LVE was pathetic too btw.

The personnel are built for LVE and Jaylon to be run and hit guys, if the DL is getting blown up and those two (any two Will types, really) have to take on OL off the line of scrimmage the defense will get killed. On one of the big trap runs Sean Lee was on the field, IMO its really about the DL and the lack of execution.

But having horrible safety play compounds the issue. Then playing Lamar Jackson compounds that.....

I could go on but I won't.
