The "hate" should be pretty clear. I think it has been rehashed so many times it is a dead horse at this point. You either agree with the criticisms or you don't.

Zeke and Amari are payed to be difference makers. They haven’t made a difference this season.

Using stats as your sole indicator of success is where you fail.
Your statement is false.

It is their contracts. They are getting paid like the best players at their positions but they are not making that kind of impact. I would say Zeke, more than Cooper, is underperforming. There is evidence all over the league that it is not necessary to draft a RB in the first round, or pay a RB top money to have a good running game. Maybe we can't blame Zeke because Jerry overpaid him, but he did hold out for more money so he has to bear the criticism that he is getting.

Don't you pay these guys so they can excel in these situations? Andy Dalton isn't a bum. AJ Green put up huge numbers with him throwing the ball to him.

Cooper is fine. His main criticism is that he disappears for long stretches at a time and doesn't seem to like football that much. This has been the knock on him going back to Alabama. He is the same guy he was before the contract, so I don't blame him. When his head is right, he produces. Not worried about him.

Zeke is a different story. Since holding out with 2 years left on his contract, he has gotten worse and worse. His performance this year has been awful, especially when you factor in the 6 fumbles. He has more fumbles than TDs this year. Simply put, he hasn't helped the team.
Haven't heard this about him. Is this another one of those "poor body language" assumptions?

Because of these contracts the players are on. Baring the injury to Dak, Cooper should be a 1000 yard 10+ TD a season player. Zeke should be 1200 yards over 4.0 ypc and 10+ TD's

I don't hate Amari Cooper. It's his personality type the sleepy quiet type that he has. He's a great player. Followed him his whole career and he just runs some the wrong way when he disappears because of his personality. He is the ahy quiet type.

Scapegoating. I think Zeke is what he is at this point. I don't think he's bad or have fallen off...I just think he needs Dak more than Dak needs him which is funny because the narrative was Dak needed him lol.

There was a time when Dak DID need Zeke more but the roles have reversed. Zeke came into the league ready to be the best back in the game.. Dak came into the league ready to carry a clipboard for 2 years. They have had completely different starting points and journeys. Zeke had nowhere to go but down from his rookie season .. Though he played really well for a rookie Dak still had miles of headroom to reach for.

Amari Cooper is about 100 yards away from breaking 1,000 yards this season with the majority of it has been from bums behind centers. If he crosses that threshold, he would've crossed it for the last 5 out of 6 years as a starter in the NFL. The only time he didn't do so, he was hurt. Dude has more than earned his money and will be just as good going forward with Dak.

Zeke-I somewhat understand. However, Zeke is playing behind a line that no longer has ANY of his starters. Yesterday was also a prime example of Moore abandoning the run because we were done. This is what happens when you have a poor defense, you have to abandon your winning formula. Without his starting qb, and his offensive line, Zeke is about 200 yards away from getting over 1k and is averaging about 4 yards a carry. I thought he looked very good yesterday. My only issue with him this year has been the fumbles but i feel that's him trying to do too much because the talent around him is very good.

I hope the front office doesn't take the cheese that some fans are trying to sell. Fix this defense, protect your quarterback with a good line and everything else will fall in line.
It's all fine that you dont get it, but yards for fantasy teams dont even end up close to winning real games.

I'd wager nearly ANYTHING that neither one of those guys is on this team next time it wins, or to a lesser degree....if either one of them ever win a thing, it wont be mostly because of them.

One wanted more than anything to be a celebrity and live the party life, until PR folks got him away from that only to smoke pot on the couch.

The other couldnt care less if he won, lost or tied.

35M a year for the two and a historically bad defense.

Those "yards" fall short in the end.

This team basically had a two year window when they traded for Cooper and refused to admit that it closed on them. Two year penalty there while enduring the time you cant get out of either deal.

Dallas goes down further from here before they get better.

The issue with that is we never saw Dak without Zeke aside from when he got suspended but Tyron was out too if I’m not mistaken. 2017 was also his sophomore year which can be a struggle.

Cowboys had a two year window? How so?

I don’t hate Zeke I just think he is way overpaid for his production especially with the team being up against the cap. The defense is horrendous and all the resources are on the offensive side. Amari is a very good receiver but again with Lamb and Gallup could they use his money on the defense? I was never for paying Zeke, in the salary cap era you can get good running backs in the middle rounds with great production. Rather have that money on a corner like Byron Jones or a defensive lineman stud.

I swear I must watch a different Amari Cooper than some of the fans on this board. Cooper is a beast.

I find it funny that if someone has criticisms of a player, even if they're legit criticisms, because they don't bow and worship that player they're labelled a hater. It's childish.

Cooper is fantastic. Zeke -was- great and could be again, but he's definitely not been himself this season and IS paid to make a difference, which he hasn't. If you're paid that much, you better come ready to play every single game and not be low-key faded.

It is about the money they are paid. Could be doing a lot more everywhere else with cheaper players at their positions. They may be good players, but their contracts are detrimental.

A lot of fans on this board appear to not watch the games at all. They look at the box scores and then come to argue about it.

Agree 100%. Jim Brown wouldn't be successful either with a historically bad defense giving up 30+ pts/game, backup QBs and the entire OL being backups. Not in today's game where single players can't dominate like Brown, Simpson, and Sanders used to without help from the OL and coaches. Many of the posters here need a boogieman to direct their anger towards so Zeke, Lawrence and Amari due to their contracts get the Zone hate.
