What are the last three things you truly learned?
That redundancy is the norm with most. Habits are habits and the familiar is comfortable.
People simply do not tire of saying the same thing hundreds upon hundreds of times, no matter how right, or wrong. It's what is in their heads and it's not leaving.
It's easy to assume that that's pretty much how they go about their lives.

Oh! You asked for 3 things.
I'm not of the proper state of mind, at the moment, to properly answer more eloquently.

I hope this was enough.

Okay cool...I think I can relate to you.

Why do you give so much credit LOSING...AND.... being draft well this year? What gives you such confidence to abandon your principles for a phantom promise?
Which draft picks gives you such confidence? Which draft picks don't?

You can just give a general answer.

the biggest thing for me is that we have a Super Bowl winning coach and haven’t given him time to build his roster yet.

Yes I know Stephen jerry and will have a lot of influence in the picks but I have to belive that MM also has a vision and strategy over the next couple of years.

look at this past draft....Diggs, bladiaz and ceedee all look like good to great starters with a few more potentials out there....

If we are gonna give mm a chance then we have to let him shop for the groceries too right?

I totally understand that...and have posted such. "accountability"...I have said.

We here...have none. We can say and propose any such thing and arguments and agreements will ensue. But in the end it is not an entity with any real consequence or accountability.

Some people act like it is.

As far as "learning".....there are far and FEW members who come here to learn. Most just want to impose their will. I am already on record as NOT an expert and TRYING to learn.
Imposing our will? Exactly how can that happen? I really want to know so that I can impose a few Super Bowl seasons. I think all of us learns tidbits from time to time. I don’t think that any of our opinions means anything to the team or has any effect on their success. To be honest, our opinions are as useless as tits on a board hog.

I will never grow tired of saying 'Garrett sucks'. There - I said it again.

Dak is worth whatever he can get. No more, no less.
The rest of the league is not as gullible as Jerry and Stephen. They are the only ones that will overpay Dak and ruin the salary cap for the next several years.

I can only imagine a GM's face when their phone rings and it's got a Jones on the ID...

You are putting to much confidence in MM. Dallas did not get the Super Bowl version of MM. They got the version that was in Green Bay the last few seasons of him coaching there, which consisted of him missing meetings and practices to get rub-downs. They got the version of MM that Rodgers describes as having the lowest football IQ in the league and the coach that had his offense go stale for his last few years at Lambeau Field. MM got dealt a bad hand this year, but his response to it hasn’t been good. He has made some coaching decisions during games that rivals Garrett at his worst.

The big difference is he made aggressive decisions as dumb as Garrett's conservative decisions.
There is a difference.

whether that is accurate or not will only be decided after we give him the ability to build the team through a few drafts....

expecting him to win with Garrett’s soft team and the most major injuries I’ve seen in some time to this team is unrealistic

Isn’t what this entire site is about? Literally almost every thread is someones opinion of someone elses opinion that they have on control over.

"You aren't a real fan if you don't embrace Zeke and you think he sucks."

Sounds pretty dumb, doesn't it? About the same level of dumb as the OP and in the same spirit.

Just my opinion though.

Let me expound.

Draft picks are ...shall I si9mplify it and say hit and miss.

The desire and effort and drive to win....even in the face of adversity,,,,is..TYPICALLY...ingrained in us and our DNA. You have to to cast off everything nature gave you to root for losing.

I get retreating. It's possible that is how you might describe it? You ...retreat...to fight another day.

But to openly actively and enthusiastically cheer for losses?

So I do see the ultimate objective. ...but....I can't root for losses. I want MY team to WIN ...always. In each and every moment.....win it. Not looking for some phantom fairy dust future win. KILLTHEM NOW.

To always want your team to win today is to want the *consequences* of those wins, which may be losses tomorrow.

If you cant get yourself to root for a loss then just change the narrative.

Start rooting for better draft position.

Im rooting for a top 5 pick and your rooting for the 19th pick. That pretty much sums it up right there.

There's no guarantee the world won't be destroyed by The Sweet Meteor of Death tomorrow.

But that's the way to bet.

I can understand wanting to cheer for a win.

Why can't you understand cheering for a better draft pick? It's really not that mysterious.
A loss is a loss. You can sit there and watch and be happy when we lose? Ok
