Saturday Game Thread

He's not "far and away" better than Travis Kelce. They're in the same class, by themselves.
I'll take kittle, age for one, and he doesn't have mahomes. But yeah, kelce is #2 in my book and far ahead of the rest too

Dolphins screwed up taking Tua instead of Herbert. I don’t even think Tua is an NFL QB. I think the Dolphins might be drafting another QB with the Texans 1st rd pick this year.
No way. They are all in on Tua. He’s a rookie who had no camp this year. Herbert and Burrow look more ready now but I wouldn’t rule him out just yet.

Well, right now Hurts is looking better than Tua. Herbert had the same amount of camp as Tua. Hurts had even less of camp since he was 3rd or 4th on the QB depth chart. Herbert is by far the better prospect. Tua is stinking it up.

No way is that pass interference on Jones. I am not a fan of Byron Jones but he played that pass almost perfectly. Ref was wrong.

Did they review the pass interference call? I forget. Do they even review PI any more?

nope, they stopped doing that after just one year. Instead of fixing the rule they just did away with it.

No idea.

But this is what @stilltheguru tried to use as a slam on Byron.
Guru out here embarrassing himself yet again

They need to allow review of any play like Belichik suggested. Maybe 3 reviews per game, any play.

I think that PI call on Jones would have been overturned. Need to watch these refs. Too many mistakes, some intentional.

I agree i was thinking after that first half they have to go to Fitz i mean if the playoffs vs bringing rookie along is the goal , put he man in that can move the offense and score..

however, i believe they should treat Tua a lot like NO is using THill. start Fitz, use Tua for 2-4 series a game and like real QB not all gimmick plays but you need the vet to carry you into the payoffs.

Tua can be learning on the fly but his statements about the NFl being easier then he thought, well he might have spoke too soon, once defenses nd coaches get film on you, they will welcome you to the nfl..what i see in Tua is hes waiting for receivers to become more open and not trusting the play or player..much like dak had some issues with not throwing on time and waiting for Wr to become more open and was coined check down Charlie..Dak was betetr his rookie year then Tua but had similar issues...

Tua will be fine but needs time..

Was one of the few miami fans leaning towards Herbert as an option. God their forums had legit Tua cults.

Not a good start for Tua.

I understand they all had the same playing field...hell some worse than others. But everyone doesn't learn at the same speed. After 2017 most people felt Wentz was above and beyond anything Dak and Goff would be. In 2020, only one of them is a backup and it ain't Dak or Wentz.

Jalen Hurts is a good player. HE was a good prospect. People wanted to talk themselves out of him but he was a good college QB and should've been drafted higher. That being said, I'd still take Tua over him.

I dont' know why with Fitzpatrick they didnt' just sit Tua. This should've been his red shirt year or maybe work him in slow and have him play a Taysom Hill role like you suggested. I get why bad teams do it but Dolphins have a solid record. You don't have to force this with Tua.

I mean rightfully so. TUA before the injury was suppose to be the best QB in this draft.
Before the season, sure. But even before his injury Burrow overtook the #1 spot.

Hes still young and miami needs more weapons but he's too hesitant out there. Can't crack 100 yards in 3 games iirc
