Miami invested a lot giving up a top five pick for Tua and regardless how good Fitzpatrick was playing they wanted to see him play. However, if you’re going to start him you have to stay with him in moments like this if he’s going to develop. The move paid off for Miami they won the game but I don’t know how they can go back to Tua. They can’t keep pulling in for Fitzpatrick every time he’s not having a great game. The Dolphins have created a dilemma for themselves.

My thoughts exactly, and when Fitz brings the team back like this it takes some wind out of Tua’s sails with the rest of the team.

I think if I'm the Raiders I go for the TD on that 3rd down. Then go for 2. I was telling my friend that while watching the game. I knw around 20 seconds isn't a lot of time. But all they need is a FG and anything can happen.

Dolphins screwed up taking Tua instead of Herbert. I don’t even think Tua is an NFL QB. I think the Dolphins might be drafting another QB with the Texans 1st rd pick this year.

If you are referring to the one called on Byron. It wasn't even a hold. He was feeling where the WR was while looking for the ball. Once he felt where the receiver was he then went for the interception.

It was the right call. Byron made it easy for the ref to call it

There was more OPI on the long touchdown than what was just flagged on Jones.

Yeah after watching the replay on twitter it was a soft call.

I guess it's hard to determine that based on college play. But yeah, at some point Tua is going to have to make that transition from college to the pros. Because he is clearly not better than Fitz.

Well Fitzpatrick is the starter from here on out

Flores has already announced that Tua will be the starter next week. And Michael Irvin has declared Flores "Coach of the Year" -- in large part for his handling of the Tua/Fitz situation.

In truth maybe this is for the best, but it seems to me this is both undermining him and harming the team's chances. If Tua's not ready...he's not ready. Seems like the kid doesn't yet trust himself w/down-the-field reads.

That said...Dolphins are rising...so Flores is doing something right.
