Great 250 carries and 6 fumbles later Zeke gets all that he cares about. 1000 meaningless yards.
A poster on this site brought this up, not Zeke. I doubt Zeke is happy about being under 1,000 yards after 15 games or the 6 fumbles.

If we fix the offensive line and get an OC that will actually commit to the running game, I think we would be an elite running team again.
I don't think this offensive line will ever be what it was in 2014 though.....that's one of the best units ever in Dallas.

We’ll, let’s see. If you are going to rushed the ball 20 times would you rather have 80 yards or 100 yards? That is the difference between 4 ypc and 5 ypc.

And you talk about the level I am stooping to discredit Zeke. Call it whatever your heart desires but Zeke fans have extremely low expectations for the dude yet have a very high perception of the dude. I just wish he was nearly as good as his biggest fans think he is.
Its call adjusting expectations. Its like Jason Witten....why would I gauge Jason Witten on what he was in his prime? All I can do is gauge players based on what they've shown me. I can't gauge it based on what they do in Madden. I've lowered my expectations of Zeke. The days of him getting 5 yards a carry are long gone.

That I can agree with, except the Madden jab. Zeke hasn’t been elite since 2016 except for his reputation.

I wouldn't expect it to get back to that level, but I would be good with somewhere between 2016 and 2018.

About 62-66 yards per game. Wip-Dee-do.
Many fans don't appreciate how hard it is to even start an NFL game healthy, let alone playing injured and still getting some sort of production.

1,000 yards isn't particularly special though, although the O-line injuries likely kept it from being more. 13 players either already have 1,000or are within 100 yds of it.

Ok, stating that he is 63 yards short, makes him less of a player? I don't understand the logic. Henry and Cook, are the only two backs that have separated themselves, this year. All of the rest are in the same category as Zeke. Only five have eclisped the 1000 yard mark, and there is no guarantee, that any of the remaining backs will make it. Sixteen backs had over 1000 yards last year, with Zeke being fourth on that list.
