Thanks, I was hoping someone would say this! We got run all over by an awful offense who shot themselves in the foot at every opportunity. If we had played a much better team, they would have scored a bunch on us. Sometimes you have to look deeper into things.

Pump the brakes man - all three wins need to be viewed with the context that the Dallas Jerry's beat 3 really bad teams.

Sure, and the following week the 9ers beat the Cards and the Bengals beat the Steelers. Also fair to point out the Eagles are a much better team with Hurts. This league is still very much an any given Sunday league. I don't believe we are going to do much in the playoffs but winning 4 straight is always an accomplishment.

We can trash on the teams the cowboys have played, but these are still NFL teams. Since playing us the bengals are 2-0 with two quality wins, including a 37 point 350+ yard passing performance last week. San Francisco just beat a playoff team in Arizona. The eagles they not only beat, but beat pretty convincingly.

you play the games on the schedule, and the cowboys have done their job the last 3 weeks. Fools gold or not it’s a huge improvement over losing to bad teams early in the year. Even bad teams in the nfl are talented and a threat to win every week. You don’t get to play any South Hawaii Institute of Technology type teams at this level.

Sure thing. I have you on ignore but this warranted responding.

Saints game. Dak was moving the ball. Witten ran with it and fumbled on a would be scoring drive. Zeke also fumbled on a would be scoring drive. Thats 6 points right there. I believe that would be a win. And thats if we only kicked field goals, which by the way, the way Dak was moving the ball would have most likely been touchdowns.

New England-Our fearless head coach had the guys practicing inside all week, even though it was raining outside and we knew a torrential downpour was coming our way that Sunday. You bringing that game up shows your agenda loud and clear.

Eagles game- Dak was hurt. Period. He didnt practice all week and he would have been better off sitting that game. So i do blame him for trying to be a hero.

Also. This thread title wasnt based on points against. It was based on turnover and field position. But you are too focused on Dak to realize that.

Philly just put up 26 points and 400+ yards against a pretty good Arizona team the week before. Cincinnati put up 37 points and 400+ yards this week. San Francisco just put up 400 yards this week. I get this isn’t the cream of the crop, but it’s still NFL offenses, and they all have talent. 3 strong performances in a row is reason to be optimistic. This defense still has holes, but the fact they’ve been able to limit scoring and create turnovers is a very good thing.

Go back and look at those turnovers. How many were created by our team versus mistakes by the offense? Playoff caliber teams aren't going to make these mistakes.

They are. We just have to take advantage of them when they do. Pats verses rams each team had a fumble and interception. You have to be ready for it AND make them pay. final score 13-+3...it could make all the difference in the world.

Historically (say last 20 years? Certainly the last 10)...we've not been very effective creating those TO's nor making them pay when we do. Good or bad teams.

The score is 16-15 Hawks before the half. The Cowboys have the ball AND get the ball after the half. There is 1:05 to go and this fool throws a bonehead INT. That leads to a Td and a score of 23-15.

We get the ball after the half and then Dak fumbles. That ends up leading to ANOTHER TD and now its 30-15.

The point I am making is. Yes Dak threw the pick. But the defense didnt respond.

Dalton threw a dumb pick against the Eagles on Sunday and if it wasnt for like 10 False Starts in a row that could have turned the game. But it didnt.

I am not making excuses but you guys who dont like him need to get off the "he cant do anything right" train. Its unbecoming.

I hold Dak accountable when he messes up. I just hate the double standard.

For example.

Romo throws a game ending INT "well at least hes trying to win"

Dak throws same thing "what an idiot"

See what I mean.

Thats when I get upset. Its not fair. And if you look at the 2 guys its really easy to see why Dak gets a lot of the hate he does.
