I don't want Dalton. Don't want Dak either, I don't think either will ever go anywhere. But you keep comparing your starter to a backup and coming up nearly the same.
so who do you want? perhaps we should call 1-800-NeedQB hot line as Parcells once said....

you seem like a person that has no plans....just that I don't want Dak is not a plan....or are you suggesting we should tank?

Not for nothing, but Lamb dropped that possible go ahead TD at the 10. Hit him right in the hands. What else can you ask for?

He would have walked into the end zone. And then our D would have let them roll right down the field.

Dalton has been average at best during his career, with the biggest issue with him is folding when it counts the most, having some of his absolute worst performances when it counts. he has had his 4 worst performances in his playoff games and was 1-12 in games that mattered...now 1-13.

yesterday he couldn't hit side of a barn in the first half. he couldn't even hit his usual dink and dunk throws. he made all the wrong reads and he held on to the ball way way too long at times leading to sacks....and his last throw was awful, plain bad for a veteran QB...as soon as he threw the ball, I saw 6 blue jersey's in the end zone and my immediate thought was why? why throw a floating duck when you see 6 blue jerseys' in the end zone and only two cowboys players....

in the end, Dalton couldn't beat any starting QBs in the league......

and now, having seen first hand, I am not sure he is even the answer to back up QB spot, if all he is able to do is beat 4-11 teams playing their back up QBs....a back up should be capable of keeping the team competitive, against average and good teams...he was never able to do that....

keeping Dalton is a mistake even as a back up....we could at least keep a low round draft developmental player. Dalton is not even developmental and there is no upside.
Very difficult to fairly compare him with this injury-riddled team.

And he actually did better than Dak considering what he had in the way of support and a very average and below average coaching staff.

If you just want to poke at a dead body..poke the rest of the corpse for a pulse.

eagles were division winners at 9-7....giants were a 6-10 team.....I say there is quite a bit of difference.....

more excuses! 9-7? How the hell can we compete with that? the health of the team was a HUGE difference. You couldn’t wait to crap all over Dalton to build your guy up, yet refuse to recognize the monumental choke job with the division on the line.

wait, on the one hand I hear Dak can't beat winnign teams (although he has). on the other hand, I hear 9-7 excuses and then I hear Dalton was a hero against Giants yesterday and it was everybody else's fault on the team.

btw, I didn't need to crap all over Dalton. he did a good job of that himself....

would have walked? are you sure? he wouldn't be tackled? he was at the 10, with 3 giants in front of him at the 5....but hey just make up shiet as you go along.

Again, there's a reason nobody signed him to be a starter and he had to take a backup job behind a QB who had never missed a game in his career.

I agree. I am quite disappointed in Dalton even as a back up....he choked in a big game, yet again against a 5-10 team this time. he couldn't keep the team competitive against other starting QBs, getting blown out routinely....and could barely manage to win against 3 4 win teams with their back up QBs.....I expect my back up QB to keep the team compeitive against average competition...Danucci was more competitive against the eagles his first game he ever started than Dalton against other starting QBs. and the defense didn't give him 11 turnovers.....

Cause he has never broken a tackle. and he was on the run and easily could have split the two defenders. So yes, I think he could have scored. At the very least they would have been near the 5 yard line. Chances of scoring from there are quite a bit higher than from the 18. But don't let that upset your hatred for Dalton. The whole team failed, not one person. Including the coach who failed to go for 2 when he should have and failed to challenge a game changing play.

so we just can make up anything we want.....he could have easily split the two defenders that were right in front of him. in fact there was three who met him at the 5. there was another one that was in the top side of screen...

its unbelievable to what lengths you go to defend Dalton's craapy play and now blame CD and his drop for a loss.

good players are able to rise to the occasion...Dalton in the very next play folded...throwing a duck that as a veteran he should have known better not to throw. as soon as he threw it you could see 6 defenders in the endzone and 2 cowboys players....

at 33, 10+ years of NFL experience and making a dumb play like that....

pathetic. really pathetic

For a second I thought you were describing Dak in his game against the Eagles last year.

ok, here is a challenge for you...describe a must win game of Dalton that he was good at and actually won. I will do the same for Dak....

you go first......given how long it will take you, I am going on vacation....I will never have to respond to that post....because there isn't any.

you Dak detractors are a funny bunch. all you have, the only thing you have is the eagles game in week 16 last year...is that it?

Isn't every game must win? Dalton is a middle of the road backup. You keep trying to tear down Dalton to prop up Dak, but you're missing the big picture. Dalton is a backup QB, and yet the similarities are frightening, especially for someone like you.

LOL similarities, I see the stats. Dalton was a bad starter for years in Cincinnati. There's a reason he wasn't offered another starting job anywhere after the Bungles drafted Joe Burrow.

OH GEEZ are you serious....now you are backing off.....must win or you stay home...must win or your season is done for sure...

seriously....I can't believe you back out like that.....grow some balls dude...

there is zero, similarities between Dak and Dalton.....Dalton was able to beat up a bunch of 4 win teams playing their back up QBs...he played a 5 win team with their 2nd year starting QB, having all these weapons at his disposal, defense getting him two turnovers and he folded...as he always does..

get real
