Sometimes I think there is a media conspiracy to goad Dallas into bad decisions..........than I remember that we have GM Jerry and he needs no help in that regard.

Who will go down as the dope that thought Dak was backup material? You maybe?

Wait what? I'm saying the type of things you and the dak fans say, and now I'm a bad guy?

This is the type of things you say, I'm on your side.

Dak is the best QB to ever play the game.

Good news: A lot of good players are about to be free agents.
Bad news: Horrible year to be a free agent with the cap maybe going down to $175M and teams scrambling to get under.

From that list you’d have to take a look at Leonard Williams Justin Simmons and maybe for vet help with lavonte David

Leonard Williams had 1 good season, he's probably going to want big money which I wouldn't offer him.

No, your just a pathetic, desperate, lying troll that has looked dumb in the dak debate. Really dumb.

Last year, Dak made a desperate, last-ditch effort to come to an agreement with the Dallas FO. Unfortunately, he and the Dallas FO couldn't come to a mutual agreement on the length of their proposed contract. This year, the Dallas FO is making the same positive statements that they did last year. Jerry even admitted that they're at a distinct disadvantage in their talks with Dak. The Dallas FO is piss poor when it comes to practical tactics being present in their negotiating. Nobody knows what to expect, with the Dallas FO being how they are. Let's face it -- their bargaining skills are anything but skillful.

elite with fumbles , ints, and bad throws? sure was coming and putting up yards and that great but he wasn't mistake free, the turnovers on offense did not help the defense..

sure everyone needing a qb is interested but interest isnt show me the draft picks and money to trade for him..
you know Dak has one of the best interception rates in the league?
you know he has one of the best completion percentage in the league?
and how many fumbles did Dak have exactly?

and I ask you to please point me to a QB that plays mistake free......let me get you started Mahomes (btw, he doesn't).....you do the rest

and are Zeke's fumbles Dak's fault? please explain....

im saying he was not mistake free , didnt play perfect and yards are not an indicator of great qb.. io like dak hoe they work it out but anything over 35 is mistake for tier 2 qb..hes been very good most of the time but average at some of the times we need him most..

hes not elite

there will be a lot of older FA in the market, willing to sign small one year deals to get to 2022......it wouldn't surprise me for the league to come up with a creative way of getting around $175 figure...

and plus, money/contracts can be worked to push it to 2022, 2023....

its just playing with numbers in the spreadsheet.....

yards...completion percentage, interception rate, down field accuracy and completions, QBR, QB ratings, highest number of come back wins, etc. etc. etc...

Dak will get the going rate for top 10 QBs.....that's the market.....

your opinion and anger towards dak is irrelevant...just learn to deal with it..

Yeah, I think the league will try to be creative with the cap. Problem with pushing things to 2022 and 2023 is that those years might be bad too in my opinion. There is no ticket revenue, concession revenue, and parking revenue for 2020. Might not be there for 2021 either. I don’t think the ratings will be increasing. Fewer young people are watching. Advertisers want those young viewers. They spend like drunken sailors. Cash flow could be problematic. So, I think some teams will shy away from contracts with low initial years that balloon in 2023 and beyond. Just my guess.

I think by fall of 2021 we should be back to more of a normal. we may not have over packed stadiums, but there will be much larger crowds. so revenue should go up. by 2022 TV renegotiations happen, and in 2023 so the cap is expected to get a jump....everyone will adjust.

Without a doubt. No other QB playing now or in history compares to Dak Prescott. He will single handedly lead the Cowboys to the superbowl atop a winged steed whilst bearing the flaming sword of furious justice and all encompassing passing yards.

It's true, I read it on CZ.
