It's so hard to tell. Normally you say coaches but all 3 defensive starters that left this off-season (Jones, Maliek, and Quinn) all regressed so maybe the players are awful as well ?

Think WE ALL know they will likely hire an experienced replacement who can hit the ground running. No time to waste.......especially for MM.

Keep an eye on Winston Moss, not as DC, but positional.

My question really now is why the LB coach and DB coach are seemingly safe.

If they want to bring in any DC with any skins on the wall, they need to allow that DC to import positional coaches as well.

We have tried the patchwork approach over the years because Jones hates to pay coaches.

I don't think forcing McCurley and Linguist on a coach not familiar with him is very smart.

Why are you assuming they are being forced on the new dc? Not fired now. Gives DC options if his guys aren't available

I think LVE and Smith greatly benefit going back to a 3 man linebacking group.

They should of started with the dumba$$ players that are employed by this organization. I've watched players on both sides of the ball that have no business on this team, let a lone in this league. Now that the s@#$%^t is running down hill players have to be involved in the purge and I'm talking about the ones who are over paid and are major underachievers!

The numerous turnovers late in the season were nice, but it doesn't change the truth. Dallas had one of the worst defenses ever. And when that is the case? It's clearly not just the personnel. More importantly, when that happens someone's head has to roll.

Was not excited about the Nolan hiring, but was willing to give a chance because he was a very experienced coach. Didn't take long to turn sour on him.

@Hennessy_King I tried to warn you this dude sucked but you stood by him until the season started, I can only assume you agree with this firing? Honest question, you may have very well addressed this after the first few weeks and I didn’t see it. I just remember you being adamant that he got a bad rep and his defenses in Atlanta got considerably worse, until they were dead last, because of the roster.

Granted our roster is over rated and sucks as well but not 31st sucks IMO. A think a decent DC could have had them in the low twenties.
