If Dallas wants to make drastic improvements to the defense, they need to acquire a DT like Vita Vea.

Why would we want to invest what Tampa is going to want in return for a player they just spent a 1st on 2 years ago? More logical... Bears are 89m over next season. Releasing Akiem Hicks would save them 11.9 m and only be 1.5m dead money hit. Bring him in on a 3yr backloaded contract!

I wouldn't be upset with Dallas trading for a DT instead of him hitting free agency, where the Cowboys are less likely to get into a bidding war for his services. Of course, it depends on the asking price.

Wasn't he hurt and underwent surgery in 2020?

So we do not want him unless he passes his medical clearance.

We have enough projects on the team.

Not Vita.

I don't really think Vea jerseys would sell, but nice try!

@Dak_Attack_09 Vea has 43 tackles and 7.5 sacks in 34 games over 3 years.

Averages barely over 1 tackle per game and 1 sack roughly every 4 games. Trystin Hill averages roughly the same number of tackles per game but has 0 sacks. Gallimore averages 1 tackle per game.

What is so great about this Vea?
