Yet better than any of our DBs.....its more about him being smart knowing the system and being able to teach our cbs something. I'm in
It would be amazing if a team would play It's A Small World.Personally, I find the music portion of the game to be a distraction. I'm here for football, not singalongs.
Quick side note: Read a couple of tweets that we could see an avalanche of vets released shortly after the Super Bowl.

Cowboys 2021 free agency: Dallas hasn't ruled out interest in Richard Sherman, but lots to consider
They'd like to open a dialogue with him, if he's willing to talk
It's no secret the Dallas Cowboys have been attempting to reconstruct the framework of the once infamous Legion of Boom, but having failed to do so to this point. The addition of Kris Richard as passing game coordinator in 2018 was a lynchpin in their more recent attempts, but Richard was let go in 2020 when the head coach and defensive regime changed. One year later, there's been another seismic shift -- one that sees Dan Quinn taking over after a historically abysmal showing by now-fired defensive coordinator Mike Nolan -- which serves as a reset button to build in Dallas what the Seattle Seahawks once boasted, and this is where Richard Sherman might come into play.

The first things i look at are what has he done in like the last 4 years and this is what I found. He hasn't played an entire season the worst was last season missing 11 games and 2017 he missed 7 games and a couple games in the other two years. He has 6 picks in the last 4 years with 1 year he had 3 so the other 3 years he had 2 in one and 1 in another and the 3rd year zero. In March he'll be 33 years old and I'll bet his speed as slowed since the legion of boom days. If the Cowboys could get him for league minimum I'd be fine with that but it's unlikely he would sign for that. I don't think he's the same player he was and he is hoping name recognition gets him more money.

I actually agree but another poster asked an interesting question.......can he move to free safety and play at a decent level?
I wouldn’t mind signing Sherman. His experience and knowledge of the game (and Dan Quinn’s system) is valuable in and of it’s self.
The truth of the matter is.. Good teams typically have a balanced mixture of good veterans and high upside young players. Sherman would absolutely make our secondary better by coaching up Diggs, Brown, and whom ever else we most certainly draft. Imagine what he could do for fringe players like Canady and Reggie Robinson? Both these guys have the size and length, like Sherman.
All I’m saying is.. it makes sense and they definitely could do worse. But as always, it’ll come down to dollars and cents.
Side note: This situation is similar to the “re-signing Gerald McCoy” conversation to me. Yeah, both Sherman and McCoy are past their primes. But we should use them both as chess pieces and rely more on the young/drafted guys to produce.
2nd side note: ponder this..2019 Sherman: at the ripe age of 31, Sherman had 3 INTs.. Our top CB last year had 3 INTs and he was a rookie! (Diggs)

What part am I confidently wrong about Mr confidence?!I love confidently incorrect posts.
Who is he not better than in our CB room.?Hes not a smart player?....he doesnt know Quinns system?.... he couldnt teach our young guys anything?.... please tell me where I'm wrong so I can be as wise as you are!I love confidently incorrect posts.
It baffles me how our fans are. Want to get better but complain about everybody and everythingHe has one injury-plagued year after yet another Pro Bowl season and these galaxy brains want to act like he's not good enough for THIS defense. It would be hysterical if it weren't so sad. They might as well pass out free Kool-Aid at Jerryworld and rename it Jonestown.

Of course he won’t and he shouldn’t. If it happens it would be an incentive laden contract. They will once they find out he won't play for the vet minimum.
Always with the negative post. Always. Can he run at all anymore?
