Dak and his agent just did a fist pump seeing one less QB available.Man I wouldve loved to get that kind of haul for Dakota
thisThis is the trade that will end up getting Les Snead and Sean McVay fired.
Omg Alexander lives! At least they have the fortitude and humility to admit a mistake and move on.
Yes, the price was huge. But now they have taken a huge contract burden off of themselves for future seasons.
If this were Dallas, they would have sat and suffered, refusing to admit a mistake and continue to pay dead weight.
rams are in MEGA CAP HELL..and the front office looks like a Vaudeville act gone awry. The Rams gave up all that and going into the 2021 season they will be what 30mil over the cap??? This will be interesting to see how they get under the cap. Restructure a bunch of player and push it down the road and then not have any picks??? WOW Some of you thought the Jones were bad. LOL LOL
Good point! At least they have the fortitude and humility to admit a mistake and move on.

Goff has been below league average for two years now. And with a QB friendly coach. Considering that and the fact he has so much money coming to him, a 1st rounder was likely a tax for taking him on.Yes and no.
Goff is not an asset, he's a liability. Worthless player w/massive cap. Unloading him probably cost the Rams one of the first-rounders.
The first round picks will almost certainly be at the bottom of round 1, and the 3rd round pick will also be late.
They've still got to draft smart with these picks, but, yeah. They totally got the sweet end of this deal. If they draft smart with those picks and coach well, they could become a real force.
Once that team starts getting old or expensive, they are gonna get bad fast. No FRP's for 8 years is going to stingYou have to pair this up with the Ramsey trade. It won't sting now but they are going to pay a huge price in the future.
Its NBA trade plain and simple. It's a salary dump. Happens in the NBA all of the time but the Rams are a little too generous with their draft picks.
Goff has been below league average the last two years with a QB friendly coach and much better talent. It's very unlikely he gets better in DetroitThe only downside I can see for Detroit is Goff’s contract. If he continues to struggle— your cap is jacked up, AND you are still looking for a franchise QB and the bevy of picks you just landed will have to be used to try and move up somewhere to get your guy.
But if Goff is able to produce? Then Detroit just absolutely crushed it. Either way— they were correct to do the deal, fleece LA, move on from Stafford, and see if Goff can improve with a change of scenery
Plus people seem to be forgetting that the two first round picks will likely be 25-32, far closer to second round picks. Not premium first round picks.Goff has been below league average for two years now. And with a QB friendly coach. The me the Rams basically gave up a 1st and 3rd for for Stafford. Which seems about right.
They way I see the Lions will probably start Goff this year to see if they can do something with him. Then cut bait in 2022 when they cant. They are heading into a rebuild, the assets are nice but they still need a QB. Its not going to be GoffPlus people seem to be forgetting that the two first round picks will likely be 25-32, far closer to second round picks. Not premium first round picks.
