Which player has ever said openly they don’t want another player back? Jaylon Smith wants Dez back.

Dak wanted Garrett and Moore back and half his defenders blame them for him being mediocre.

Aaron Donald even wanted Jared Goff back.
If the Rams had a decent quarterback, they'd be playing in the Super Bowl with that defense.
These statements are basically meaningless.

I know especially after Dak didn’t call CeeDee after the draft. CeeDee knows Dak is the same as Dalton.

These players never say openly they don’t want a player back.:lmao2:

CeeDee Lamb: 'No secret' Cowboys want Dak Prescott back

The Dallas Cowboys have one major goal heading into the offseason: re-sign Dak Prescott to a long-term deal. The team has made no effort to hide its desire to keep Prescott in Dallas, and that includes wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who acknowledged the entire organization is desperate to not let the quarterback slip away.

"It’s no secret we want Dak back," Lamb told USA TODAY Sports. "I trust that the guys in the office are definitely going to make the right decision. They know how much Dak means to us and how much we lean on him. I cannot wait to have him back."

Lamb is hardly alone in expressing his desire for Prescott to remain in Dallas. Rumor has it Cowboyszone "Pappydog" agree's with Ceedee!

Dak-Mafia baby where all the players get fat contracts and produce very little.
Yes, Dak has taken over the locker room with his excellent PR skills this is a given.
In the end, average players get massive paychecks while the fans and the team suffer.

P.S. Hey CD why don't you go practice in order to stop dropping passes on a weekly basis!!!

Cee Dee is obviously aware of how the Cowboys' front office feels about him -- they haven't held back in letting their feelings be known. I don't believe anyone should blame them for wanting their players to have the support of all the talent they can afford to accumulate, however. I'm hoping Dak takes it seriously enough to realize that his future and that of the entire organization depends greatly upon his contractual demands being fair to everyone.

I want him back as well.

At about 5 years 30 million.

not even realistic. A QB market that is well above that and a player who now has a shot at FA is going to take way less than market value?

Yeah I’m not interested in screwing the entire team over like everyone else is I guess.

then all players on this team should be playing for a lot less than market value, that is not going to happen either.

If Dak was playing with the hot mess that was the OL, it would have been worse than with Dalton, especially considering how long Dak holds on to the ball. The only reason it looked better was becayse Dalton played in a WC and throws the ball out quick and has been known too. Dalton has always been known as a quick rhythm, get-the-ball out quickly passer.

From week 11 onward no QB had a quicker time to get the ball out than Dalton except three other QBs, which included Big Ben, Tom Brady and Ryan Fitzgerald.

This all started happening after the bye week when they had time to actually adjust to the hot mess.

And let’s not act like Dak didn’t have Zach Martin the whole time and Andy didn’t and ZM, is by far the best player on the Cowboys.

also, in five games, Dak threw more play action passes than Dalton did in 11 games, which clearly attests to this point. You don’t get the ball out quick if you are running play action that much. This article though claims it’s because he’s not good at it based on the Bengals of 2019. But this article also claims the Bengals OL allowing Dalton to get sacked 37 times in 13 games was equivalent to the Cowboys OL of 2019, which allowed Dak to get sacked 23 times in 16 games, so take this opinion with a grain of salt.

There is a reason why Cooper said the following in regards to this change in focus because of the mess that the OL had become:

“But if you want the ball as a wide receiver, then you better get open fast.”

Tired of listening to all these imaginary tales about how Dak worked with garbage like Dalton. That never happened.

He isn't Mahomes, but he isn't average. Is he worth elite money? No. But. he's too good to let go. I hope he, (and/or his agent,) doesn't hold the Cowboys for ransom.
He’s worth every single penny he can get. That’s the NFL. That’s the market. SJ’s has mastered the salary cap. The team is on the precipice of long term success.

If Dak was smart, he'd come out and say he wont play under the tag this year.
And turn away from $38M?

Yeah, that would NOT be smart. Actually, it would be beyond stupid.

If he plays under the tag, he will have earned $69M in 2 years. That's good money,no matter how you look at it

If the defense is going to be the worst of all time again then yeah....probably worse than 8-8.
And that is why some people object to large contracts. It isn't Dak hate. It's dysfunctional team management.

If you pay Dak and don't fix the defense.....you just keep wasting money and careers.
And..can you fix the defense if you pay Dak? Some teams COULD. We have not proven to be able to. So why do it?

Because whether we fix the defense or not isn't dependent on Dak's contract. Because from my vantage point I can see at least 5 guys who should be cut to clear up the cap space you guys think we need to fix this defense.

Who is Zach?

Dak Hater Fantasyland.

Zack Martin chose to sit out for a calf strain Dec 7th 2020....this is the same Zack Martin that missed most of training camp in 2019 and only missed 1 game in 2019 season (MCL Sprain).

Zack Martin the best player on our team, the toughest player on our team, the unquestionable HOF caliber player on our team but Zack Martin didn’t want to risk his calf stain on Andy Dalton’s Eye Test Fantasy....

"You guys"?

I am not sure I am in any specific camp I was merely asking the question. I honestly don't care if Dak makes a 100 million. THAT is my "you guys".

I do think it might be a waste though...if we don't "fix" the defense. I am tying in the entire team success...not just rooting for Dak to get paid. He can put up all the giants stats in the whole world but if we don't WIN...it's meaningless....to me.

BTW...if you check my history again....you can clearly confirm I've not called for Dak's head. And in fact I have supported him as being clearly good enough for us to win with. Provided we have everything else in place....just like any other winning QB/team.
