Sometimes, as a responsible franchise just have to wipe the slate clean and begin a new.
Walk away from excessive cap killing contracts and injured players that could destroy a fresh contract.
This FO is pretending that they understand that concept, but they will buckle and pay the average gimp rate of return on investment, and the fans will continue to pay in term.
Fan loyalty is what really pays the bills, Jerrys lucky that he has such a loyal fan base that can suck up all of his monumental mistakes over the decades.

I think Hurns was a dislocation. Gordon Hayward's is probably the best comparison. When he broke his ankle the first game in 2018, there was speculation during the season that he may be able to play in the playoffs
Wikipedia eays he broke his fibula. I dont know all the medical specifics. I just know the two injuries looked similiar

This news was not released for us fans, but rather for the 31 other GM's.

I like Dak. A lot. I want him paid. But this makes it sound like he’s done. The fact that they hid it is not good. How sad that the mighty class of 2016 has fallen. He will be tagged this year, guaranteed. And if he looks stiff or like his ankle isn’t recovered, he’ll be released/let into FA for 2022.

this time next year, we’ll be drafting a new QB as of right now.
