It seemed like most people I was watching the game with on zoom enjoyed the halftime show, besides two boomers with the musical taste of a moldy onion, who both constantly post on Facebook about how dumb the younger generation is, and how stupid and lazy we are, so that’s to be expected.

I personally thought The Weeknd’s show was underwhelming, not because of his vocal performance, which was great per the usual, but because the audio mixing was awful, and the camerawork was weird. The songs flowed oddly, too.

Besides that I thought it was an interesting show and I appreciate the attempt at something different.

1st time I’d never heard of SB halftime artist. Guess it was difficult finding a popular name during pandemic.

I didn’t start this thread; the mods started it with my post from another thread for some reason.

I’m pretty sure he was one of the most streamed artists on the planet in 2020. This was definitely a show to appeal to the younger generation.

I'm 53 and I never understood why they would bring out has beens for a halftime show. The Rolling Stones, really? That's like 25 years too late. Some others too. For me, if they're going to resurrect bygone bands and artists, give me some Slayer! Anyway, I would expect a band or artist at the halftime show to be popular today.

I do like the song about visiting the dentist The Weekend has. But I don't think he sang it.

I guess it was better than the Black Eyed Peas. So there's that.
The worst, by far, was The Who. That was boring. These other shows are just obnoxious but I did like some of the techno from this recent show.

pffffft .... a bad show by The Who is better than great shows by 90% of the performing artists out there.

didn't mind the half time show... but then again, I didn't pay much attention to it...

Best half time show was U2... When they started running the names, powerful moment in the dome

Sorry, the two Boomers on Zoom are absolutely correct. Today's music sucks, and this halftime show was the worst in Super Bowl history by far.

That is incorrect. There is plenty of good music being produced today.

Worst by far? What an exaggeration.

I wouldn't say it was the worst ever but it was pretty bad. The mix was terrible. You couldn't understand anything he said. And what's with a bunch of people jumping around with jock straps on their heads?

I had nothing bad to say about it but did not care much one way or the other. I tend to watch the SB for the football. I would pay money to watch a football game but seriously doubt I would pay a dime to watch weekend

it was the best one in years. the commercials sucked and the sjw messaging sucked but the halftime show was doable.
