We will see what we have in Hurts but I’m pretty sure this year is going to be painful to watch as a eagles fan. I hate to see how this all went down but here we are.

My opinion isn't popular here, but I don't think Wentz just forgot how to play. The team around him got much worse. A lot of people talk like quarterbacks play in a vacuum. They need a supporting cast. Even Brady looked like crap at the end of 2019. Only to do what this year? If I'm right, the Colts are going to have a very good season next year. But as of right now I don't think the Cowboys or Eagles are in good shape going into next season. Anything can change with the offseason and draft.

I agree.
Plus Philip Rivers looked like he was completely done at the Chargers. He threw what 23 TDs and 20 INTs before joining the Colts? Look at how well Herbert played at the Chargers last season and Rivers did ok for the Colts. Wentz has really landed on his feet and I see him having an excellent season with the Colts making a deep run in the play offs. They have a loaded roster - Wentz is a very lucky boy to end up there. I'm sure he's a relieved man to not have to play twice against Washington behind a banged up old o-line!

True, but I wonder if a quarterback as limited as Stewart could have that kind of success. I remember those Steelers teams. They were defensive with gimmicky passing games.

On a serious note, this is great news for Cowboys fans. While Wentz has the talent to regain his form with some weapons around him, Hurtz has zero prospect of conducting a passing game. The arm talent just ins't there.

This kind of reminds me of the scene in the movie Moneyball when Brad Pitt playing Billy Beane,GM for the A’s, confronts David Justice in the batting cage. Told him that the Yankees are paying half of Justice’s contract to play against them. That is what the Yankees thinks of him.

If you were a QB, which team would you want to play for ?? Just play bad and get traded.

I’m actually sad. With wentz starting you could pencil in at least 1 win every year against the Eagles.

Uh, Wentz had the moxy to beat us when it mattered. He out dueled Dak with a playoff birth on the line.
I'll take Hurtz over him any day. We should have 2 easy division wins next year if they go with Hurtz.

how low are you standards that you think a guy has “moxie” because he put up 1.5 points a quarter.
Right now, Hurts isn’t a good quarterback because he is so impatient and rarely progresses past the first read since he’s looking to run.
If he gains confidence in his o-line and starts looking left and right he will become a good quarterback.

Well, folks want to pay Dak 40M a year to keep him in a cowboy uniform and the guy has done squat. The same people act like Wentz was never any good.
