I'd extend Dak if he's willing to accept 4 years at 38 mil. I'd sign one solid FA on defence, I'd trade back in the draft and draft mostly defence, and I'd explore options to trade for more picks.
 
First thing I would do is thank Jerry for the paycheck. Then higher Louis Riddick as my assistant and ask him what I should do......
 
1) Fire Stephen Jones.
2) Tell Prescott's agent we've decided to try something new and seek talent at QB.
3) Contact the Eagles and remind them that no trades are official yet. We will offer more than the Colts. A lot more.
4) Release Jaylon Smith. We don't need that circus crap.
5) Spend FA dollars on the best DT and S you can find. Available free agents or through trade.
 
Do my best to get some compensation for Dak and package a deal to get Zach Wilson.
 
1. Sign Dak to 4 year deal like he wants (as long as he’s cleared by doctors) hopefully at 37 million

2. FA: sign Tomlinson/jones at DT and one of Williams/Maye/Harrison at FS

release Jaylon and Woods

3. Draft: try to trade down to 15-22 for extra rd 2 and rd 4 picks

draft 2CBs, 2DTs, 2 LBs, 2 OL

I wouldn't mind this other than the fact that we've got to get this defence sorted out. We can't keep spending offseason after offseason on offense when this defence is a complete trainwreck.
 
Apply non-exclusive franchise tag to Dak and accept (2) 1st round draft picks when another team signs him.

Trade Zeke for whatever draft stock you can get.

Trade DLaw for whatever draft stock you can get.

Trade Jaylon Smith for whatever draft stock you can get.

Trade Amari Cooper for whatever draft stock you can get.

Rebuild the team via the draft and smart free agent decisions.
 
1.offer Dak same deal as last year if he refuses slap franchise on him again.
2. Trade Gallup leading into draft I think cedrick Wilson has pretty much same skill set even Noah brown
3. I’m giving either Patrick Peterson or the Richard Sherman a FA contract at reasonable rate and converting them to FS.
4. Throw some money or picks for Leonard Williams if they balk then I’m trying to grab Sue in a 1 year deal.
5. Getting draft board prepared for defense with LB being a priority so jaylon smith isn’t playing as many snaps but don’t draft for need take BPA so if Kyle pitts is that person you grab him.

Parsons would b my target I’d have him # 1 on my board
 
1. Non exclusive tag on Prescott. Might consider exclusive, if he's amenable to a trade.
2. Extend Dalton.
3. Investigate trade value of Lamb and Gallup with the idea of trading one for either a pick or a D player.
4. Get the best DT and/or S for the money in FA, dependent on the cap.
5. If Prescott situation is still up in the air come draft time, rescind the tag and draft a QB in the 1st. The Prescott era would officially come to an end.

Yush, I think so. Cuz this defence HAS to get fixed if we're going to have any chance of competing, and we need our franchise QB at least for a few more years while we get it up to snuff. I think if we can get this defence to at least average, Dak and the weapons we have should carry us to the finish line. We don't have an average defence atm. Coaching this defence is like teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts.

1.extend Dak...im not interested in down grading the most important position on the team.
2.try my damnedest to sign DT Dalvin Tomlinson...if that fails...i work down the list til i get my vet DT to go alongside Gallimore.
3.i do try to add pat petersen to this secondary.
4.i draft my s....hopefully richie grant.
but that poor ol safety position will not be shorted this time.
5.i am hopeful to come out of the draft with a heavy lean toward the defensive side.
couple dt's....s.....cb,maybe 2...couple LBs.
but its not set in stone because until your on the clock...you just dont know what the draft tide will bring in.
