I can’t comprehend that people don’t understand what it means to be a winner. It makes me sad for the mentality of the world. Football games are won and lost in the locker room before the game even starts. Camaraderie confidence culture. I don’t care if I lose a football game long as they play there heart out. That’s what I love about the NFL

We should be, but some won't. What the first year allows is for the team to use any restructures to make any changes they want to the team. Obviously, the Joneses aren't going to be big spenders in free agency because they never are, but the ability is there to create as much space as needed to build a defense that could support this offense.

Obviously, there are some who believe that restructures are the devil, so they will think we've ruined any chance we have of improving.

Like I replied to somebody else, the Dak deal tells me the Cowboys are in "win now" mode. Hopefully they aren't setting themselves up for cap hell in the future. But by the time Dak's contract is up the team will probably be free of Zeke, DeMarcus Lawrence, and Amari Cooper's deals to help make up for any dead money from restructures (sorry if I'm not making sense).

You don’t tell your kids to thrive to be the best they can.

I don’t fill their heads with “moral victories are what really matters”

It’s not who you are on the inside but what you do that defines you. Winners win

So it looks like they gave him the Dehaun Wtason deal, including the no trade clause.

I am a huge Dak fan. As you all know.

But man the Jones’ boys got taken to the woodshed. 4 year deal. No trade clause. No tag clause.

This is exhibit A of why Stephen Jones is an incompetent daddy’s boy who shouldn’t be anywhere near an NFL negotiation table.

In words only.

I’ll cut my arm off if we sign ANY FA that will help this D. It’s gonna be through the draft.

Oh, I think we'll get a lot of help in the draft for sure. However, I think we are in a position now to go all in this offseason! Flip the script!!! Draft and FA!! We don't really have any players that we have to resign for a couple seasons other than maybe Gallup. So, to me, the time is now to push the chips into the middle!

I’d still move some money with a Coop and Tank and be players next week

$75 million in the first calendar year. That’s lots of Campbell’s soup cans

Lol this team has no direction. Four more years of the same stuff.
If you think that one player is the reason why. And if you do realize it’s the front office then why are you even paying attention to the franchise

As I expected. 5 years would have been better, but at least it's not 3.
