Neither OT made it to #10 in this iteration of the draft, so I traded down.... actually think this is a great haul. Basically all in on defense

Good trade down with hopefully player needed.
But Safety takes two years to figure it out.
Maybe a stop gap for one year FA.

I guess this depends on how you feel about Moehrig and Samuel.

I don't think either one of them is worth that pick.
I like Moehrig, seems like the clear-cut top Safety in the draft.

Samuel I don't know as much about, so feel free to insert another CB there.

My hope for the draft is that we fix the secondary. This draft has a decent amount of depth in the secondary.

I don't understand why people keep mocking the ND OT Eichenberg so early? Maybe it's just me, but I can't see that guy going before the 4th.

This draft seems very deep at OT, offense in general really. But, IMHO, it's pretty thin at top defensive talent, especially in our main areas of need, S, LB, CB, DT. Don't get me wrong I do think you can land decent guys at any of those positions in the later rounds, but probably not real difference making starters.
So to sum up my thoughts, if we do take an OT I think it should either be in rd 1, or not until the 4th or after. Those three 2nd & 3 rd picks are the sweet spot for key defensive picks. Take those guys there or you most likely aren't going to get one that has a chance to be a real starting difference maker.
