Here is my third mock of this offseason, another 5 round draft, in this one we hit what seemingly could be the jackpot in this draft - Parsons falls to us at #10. Didn't expect that but adjusted accordingly. If we pulled in a haul like this, I think our defense next season will look much better

Not sure why one would be surprised Parsons fell. There are a few of mocks and NFL analysts who are showing he might even be around in the mid-teens.

I've also seen people call him a generational talent. I haven't watched tape of the guy personally.

Although I'm not a big fan of taking a linebacker at 10, I can't fault the value. I would probably not take a halfback, though, at any point unless he's far and away the best value. We've got our starter and backup. I think at 99, we could get a possible starter at a position of need.

Exactly my thoughts

I didn't want to grab a HB there, but oddly the positions that fell in this mock were HB & WR, and LB. Herbert seemed like the best of the bunch.

He really can be. 245 pounds and supposedly can run a 4.4. I hate the comparison to jaylon. Because in college jaylon was a monster. This linebacker class is stacked. And the consensus number 1 linebacker from most Analysts is parsons.

Molden is a slot CB in the NFL. He's listed as a safety, but he'll be a corner in the NFL.

Dane Brugler thinks Parsons is worth the 10th overall pick.

I’m biased to PSU. But the talent level is clear.

The only reason he may drop is because of the position he plays IMO and/or the possible character concerns.

I feel most players have some sort of flaw they'll need to work on. Trevor Lawrence will go 1st overall and is a great prospect, but it doesn't mean he's flawless.

Parsons isn't a can't miss generational-guaranteed Ray Lewis/Bobby Wagner type LB but he definitely has the potential to be up there.

My only concern with him would be that he got by on athletics in college more so than reading the play. Not exactly a college fault, I just hope if we take him he doesn't get that Jaylon mindset that he's some superstar, muh stats and continues to randomly shoot holes instead of covering his gap assignment.

Unless he totally kills it at his pro day it's not an option for me at 10.
I'm Leary of taking last years opt out players anyway.
That’s a concern of mine as well w Farley. A year off isn’t the best going into the nfl
