By now we should know the Cowboys' offseason approach:

1. Secure their own key players
2. Sign inexpensive free agents at positions of need so they don't have to go into the draft desperate at any given position
3. Build through the draft.
4. Get rid of any of the mediocre free agents they signed as warranted

With some extra money after couple of restructures, Jerry and the Cowboys needs fo go after Ndamukong Suh in FA. He is perfect DT for Quinn’s 4-3 scheme and ability pair with Hill, Gallimore & draft picks.

I'm hoping this FA period, the Jones boys are consulting with new DC Dan Quinn on which groceries to buy. If they take his advice to heart they will be steered in the right direction. I can't wait until Cowboys fans fall in love with that guy. He is a great hire.

I want to see the Cowboys get at least 2 FA acquisitions that plug holes. One at DT and one at safety or linebacker.

Teams that are perpetually low spenders could buy a SB on the cheap this year.

That seems to be the Cowboys SOP. But right now it looks like they can barely get the rookies under the cap let alone do your numbers 1 and 2. They're going to need to free up more space just to do what you said.

Did you like Eric Williams? I loved Eric Williams. He once told Michael Strahan, “take your a_ _whuppen like a man”. He was a bad dude! Played a little dirty too!

Williams would have went down as one of the best T of all time if not for the knee injury.

I would like to see them sign just free agent from outside and that is Dalvin Tomlinson. They can sign Lewis or Awuzie just for the numbers.

Those would be my positions of priority as well. You know Dan Quinn is reviewing the tape to discern where the biggest holes are located. The positions you mentioned are glaring deficiencies. I hope he sees what we see.
