How is what I said an insult? Because you don't want to do research for yourself? Lol Come on man... Stop listening to the talking heads, they will lead you astray.

As of today we don't know the cap, since the TV deal isn't finalized yet. Also, they can restructure players contract to make room for a FA or two. I'm not sure why people think Daks contract kills the cap, especially for this year.
Your answer put you in the doosh category. Go back and read your answer, and then get back to me. If you still don't see it, just not a lot of hope for you.

It would seem logical to me that such a big contract kills our cap room. Not listening to talking heads. So, how does paying him this huge amount not kill the cap for this year?

The cap hit for Dak is only $23 million this year and $33 million next year.

So now that we signed a gimped up average QB to a record contract....

What happens if we dont even make the playoffs.....which is very likely...Commanders have built themselves a nice Dline when Jerry wasnt looking
I just switch to my next favorite team in the playoffs. :). If you ain't learned to do this yet, you haven't been watching and learning how the cowboys intend to fizzle each and every season they can manage. Jerry is a con artist. If he had a peewee team in the NFL, he'd convince 80 percent of cowboy fans , they were going to win big! He was smart enough to build a stadium he could host many types of events in. And buy up other real-estate and businesses.

You don't have to use logic if you had researched the numbers and Im not being a ****** to tell you to do so.
2021- $22.2m
2022- $33.2m
2023- $44.2m
2024- $47.2m

The cap hits are back loaded. They are pretty big in the 3rd and 4th years but they will be the average to what franchise qb's will be getting paid at that time. Just wait til you see what Lamar Jackson is gonna get paid.

Here's a breakdown of everything:

Besides the fact WFT cut their best qb, I don't think they win the division if the Cowboys weren't wrecked by injuries.
I can't disagree with you there, the oline especially. I'm not a fan of the contract but will have to live with it. No NFL team has success in the playoffs without being lucky with the injury bug so let's hope for a healthy team this year and great success.

Go Cowboys!

Nope just pointing out that 2004 Pittsburgh team that made the AFC championship. I didn't think that 2016 team was going farther than it got. I never bought into the hype of the season.
the fact is there aren't many, that's why its historic......

You are nuts too!!!! Romo and Dak are not in the top 5.

I said - I would take Romo over Dak as the most talented QB we ever had - responding to someone else's post (and said nothing about either of them being in the top 5).

How does that make me nuts, oh crazy one?

What happens? Life goes on. Cowboy fans will likely remain Cowboy fans. Some will scream and cry no matter what. Some will be optimistic and hope for the best.

Gee a Prescott hater predicts doom and gloom. Who would have ever guessed that would happen. Oh wait that's all they do.

I like Prescott but he's not the most talented QB the Cowboys ever had. You forget about Staubach and Aikman.

And Meredith and Danny White and Craig Morton and Eddie LeBaron. If you count late career guys, Bernie Kosar and Randall Cunningham in the convo.

So if the Cowboys aren’t winning, you just switch to your next favorite team and root for them? Is that what you just said?
