As to the OP,
The legendary world hypnotist, aka Jerry Jones, will continue to smile and laugh as he continues his reign as Forbes most valuable brand.
All the while selling his inferior product to the masses while netting absolutely zero team improvement.

The jerseys will keep selling and the stayjum seating capacity rules will be lifted. So the Monster Truck events, concerts, MMA/boxing fights and college and eventually Cowboys game revenue will be fully restored.

Nothing at all will improve with team results.

The Front Office, coaching and quarterbacking of the team will continue to produce its long established brand of mediocrity.

But my prediction is even more dire. The spiral downward from team mediocrity will begin for a good 3 to 4 years now but sales will continue as quite profitable.

It's the Jerry Way.

To expect otherwise based off a QB who is 9-11 in his last 20 starts is comical.

But then again...

This is Jerry Jones we're talkin 'bout here AND this IS the Zone.

Lol
Nailed it!

and they won all of 7 games with it, and we won 6 without Dak, no defense, no oline . whats your point?
this for sure the WFTY rising is a ridiculous observation..

whos scared of team that could only get to 7-9 against this division when they were handed all the luck they could possibly get with the way injuries decimated the Cowboys and Eagles.

to me that a sign that they are not on the come up..the decision is up for grabs but in no way is WFT a threat to point im losing sleep over it..

So now that we signed a gimped up average QB to a record contract....

What happens if we dont even make the playoffs.....which is very likely...Commanders have built themselves a nice Dline when Jerry wasnt looking

We can always fire Garrett again cuz he was the one holding us back,,,, firing him again will fix everything. And if that doesn't work, fire Linnehan again.

Because that’s all Dak has ever produced. Next!

It's funny, and this is ha ha funny, that the haters forget who was the NFL offensive rookie of the year and started setting NFL records as a rookie and who lead the Cowboys to the #1 offense for 2019 and who last season until he got injured was on pace to not just break the single season passing record but SHATTER that record.

I would definitely not say it is "likely" that we don't make the playoffs

Unless Washington lands Watson or Wilson, I think Dallas is the favorite to win the division--even if it isn't a huge favorite.

What a fricking joke.........................Dak is average at best and hasn't won squat. If it weren't for the STUD O-Line in 2016 Dak would be an after thought today!
Wouldn't go this far, but you're entitled to your opinion.
I do think Dak's 2016 year--when the Dak/Zeke combo took the division and league off guard--has propped up his career stats so far.

He's a better player now than then, but that year has proven to be an anomaly and his peak, QB rating and efficiency-wise.

without a good defense it is one and done in the playoffs at best. Zeke has to have a huge turnatound season or it will be his last and dak won't be a difference maker to get them over that hump. everyone knows this .
The fallout after next reason will be massive as Cooper won't be back for sure as well due to his contract situation and zeke as welll. Plus dak's cap hit will start becoming a factor.
A lot of pressure next season on all involved , and too much to expect from a mediocre overall talent.

Then Aikman too was average at best and didn't win squat after 1995 when his Cowboys defense was no longer elite. As for stud OL., how'd Aikman do without one?
