....lol.. consider him for the Romo HOF list. You know, good stats, superstar status, marketable, ......but just couldn't get into that elusive post season club. Post season is where it counts.

Of course, you have rarities in the likes of Witten.

I just read an article where Dez was saying that he is sure that he is a lock for the HOF because of all the TD's he has caught during his career.

"Nobody put up TD's the way I put up."

His numbers -- 7,506 career receiving yards and 77 total touchdowns -- aren't historically enough to lock him in ... but he is one of the freakiest players to ever play.

Dez tells us what he did in such a short time should be enough to get him in ... but he did admit he's probably not a first-ballot kind of guy at this point.

What you citizens think?
Of course not. He’s delusional

No. Not even close. Dez has always been a little delusional about his talent. Looks like he's gotten more delusional in his retirement.

Here is the Pro Football Reference HOF Monitor for WR. There are about 70-80 non-HOF WRs ahead of him. Over 40 until you get to the first HOF WR.

If he had a coach that knew how to expose another teams weakness and utilize his players strengths he may have been one of the best ever. I’ve never seen a player with his YAC ability get so little slants called his way in my life.

The Pro Football Reference Hall of Fame Monitor (HOFm) is a metric designed to estimate a player's chances of making the Pro Football Hall of Fame using AV, Pro Bowls, All-Pros, championships, and various stat milestones. The players listed below are the top 250 HOFm-rated players who played WR starting in 1955 or later for at least 50 career games. A score of 100 is around the average modern-era inductee.
