Is Dez Bryant a lock for the HOF?

There are people out there saying Andre Johnson will never make the HOF. If Andre Johnson doesn't get in, there is no chance in hell Bryant gets anywhere near it.

He had 3 years of big production and then injuries got him. Sucks, but that's his story and always will be.

Is this a trick question? well no, he will not be in the HOF. i doubt that Jerry will put him in the ROH. There are some others more worthy coming from these teams that have not really won anything. But really does not matter.

I just read an article where Dez was saying that he is sure that he is a lock for the HOF because of all the TD's he has caught during his career.

"Nobody put up TD's the way I put up."

His numbers -- 7,506 career receiving yards and 77 total touchdowns -- aren't historically enough to lock him in ... but he is one of the freakiest players to ever play.

Dez tells us what he did in such a short time should be enough to get him in ... but he did admit he's probably not a first-ballot kind of guy at this point.

What you citizens think?

yes. He will get his shot at the HoF.

One of these players will go into the Hall The other one owned a monkey who stands as much of a chance of getting inducted as he does.

Dez had an insane peak but it only lasted 3 years then injury robbed him of that unique athleticism.
Career just didn't last long enough.

I must say Jimmy J. was pretty awful for the most part in Miami. Love the guy but he wasn't good there. He hung on to some players there a little too long. Marino was way past his prime and he should have traded him when he got there and drafted a QB.But no way Dez should be in the hall.
Jimmy wanted to trade Marino. Owner wouldn't let him. Big fight about it.

He also wanted to go Power Run but from what I hear Marino was very much against it......

Jimmy is the kinda coach that needs alot of control and Miami wasnt the place for him

I don't see how. There are so many overall better WR's who will go in. He's way too far down on the list. I really don't think it's even a possibility.

Dez falls into that "Hall of Very Good" category. A very memorable player, but he just wasn't dominant long enough. As quick as he became a star, he faded away almost just as fast.

I mean i can see a small possibility, but its very small that why i said if he does get in it'll be when hes well in his 60s

but on a scale of 1-10 ill give it a 3 that he'll get there

Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Chad Johnson, Boldin, AJ Green, julio Jones, Mike Evans, Deandre Hopkins, Brandon Marshall, Reggie Wayne, Roddy White.

There's just so many WR's who had a better career than he did. He really was a short term wonder.

One thing I will say in fairness to Jerry..Jimmy J had a shelf life of about 3 -4 years anywhere he coached. Its his nature. I think he was always gonna leave Dallas..heck I heard he wanted to leave the prior year. He must have some gypsy in his blood lol..Plus the fact he loves sailing. and being in Florida. I think that was his real passion and still is. It was time when he left no matter how we slice it. I should be fair to Jimmy..I said he was awful..he was great at finding talent in Miami and Dallas. He found a ton of great players while in Miami. Surtain, Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas and others. But I think he was burned out when he took the Miami gig. I think it was the means to an end for him.
Am I missing something? Jimmy Johnson got into the HOF mostly because of his run in Dallas. A few of these posts are talking about him like he's got no chance. I've got to be missing something.
