Why do we have to over pay? You have to ask? ...funny people still assume this is a winning organization. We haven't won anything in over 2 decades. Jerry's legacy will be how he turned America's team into a door mate...
They won the division twice in the last 6 years.

I'm not seeing it. I don't think the Cowboys are looking to take Wilson off the field as a starter. The only way we're playing Neal at strong safety is if we're planning on Wilson being the starting free safety IMO. I don't think we're planning on that.
Im guessing Wilson would he the FS on run downs and then move to SS on passing downs. Probably get 70% of his snaps at SS

Sadly, unless Jaylon's play doesn't improve, he'll be a high priced rotational player for 2021

I think if we move Jaylon back inside and LVE back outside and stop making them overthink stuff they both will be a lot better this year. Nolan tried to do too much in an aborted offseason. It was stupid.. I don't know how McCarthy could have been smart enough to know he couldn't completely overhaul the offense but then to sign off on completely overhauling the defense. The defense was at least average in 2019. Nolan dropped it to putrid.. These guys did not forget how to play football in one year. I think they'll be fine in the Quinn system because it's similar to the Rod system.

Maybe. I'm just not sure about counting on Wilson at free safety on any downs. Of course, that does seem like something Dallas would do: Take a player who has shown some ability at a position and move him to another position.

6'1" 216? Wow that's pretty big for a FS. The first question for me is was he on the field when Dak was lighting the Falcons up for 450 yards and 4 TDs? If he was then I am decidedly underwhelmed by this signing..
Yea and Zac Martin, Collins and Frederick were in the game when the falcons sacked Prescott 6 times.

this isn’t how football works.

Grady Jarrett was also on the field and I would trade your left nut for him.

He really wont have much pass defense responsibilities at FS save PA. And it wouls give us a good pair of run defending S's

Hooker or Kazee are both still possibilities. If they bring in one of those guys we're in a great spot going into the draft.

I think McCarthy's trust in Nolan was the problem. It was a moved that failed. Probably McCarthy's 1st strike. The buck always stops with the HC.
If Dan Quinn fails then, McCarthy is gone and we can start the Kellen Moore 50 burger Era till Dak leaves
