I think McCarthy's trust in Nolan was the problem. It was a moved that failed. Probably McCarthy's 1st strike. The buck always stops with the HC.
If Dan Quinn fails then, McCarthy is gone and we can start the Kellen Moore 50 burger Era till Dak leaves

If Quinn flames out I would be not be opposed to sending both him and McCarthy on down the road, elevating Moore and bringing in somebody like Wade as the DC. Problem is Wade is also a 3-4 guy.. but his defenses have generally been really good when given a little bit of talent to work with.

All three excite me due to the fact we don't have to give Darian Thompson and Steven Parker extended playing time like last year. Add a rookie to the mix along with an improving Donovan Wilson and safety could actually end up being a strength with Neal and either Kazee/Hooker.

I absolutely agree at DT, but I think we're done with that position in free agency.

I would not feel comfortable signing any of these players we have signed to anything other than a one year prove it contract.
