mr Gimme--unfortunately i left out the Jerry equation because it can be so depressing....we already let elite DB's on cheap one year contracts go to Eagles...Happy we got Neal hope we land Hooker and maybe Kazee too
that would be a royal flush..imagine...pick up Surtain at #10 Who by the way ran a 4.42 at his pro day...at 6'1" and 208....we have Surtain and Diggs with Brown at cb's to go with Hooker/Kazee and Wilson at safeties and woods for emergencies and Neal hybrid safety weakside LB....pick up another elite-ish OT in draft and DT to beef up D Line and our defense has so greatly improved to go along with a kick butt offense....i may very well have to lay down a quadruple Platinum we make it to conference championship game....and i see a winning streak of Plats this year unlike any other year....no longer the kiss of death but the kiss of winners?....yes i am optomistic...but tired of the depressing attitudes
that just make everyone miserable....what say you mr Gimme....give me the straight up truth...dont hold back no matter how painful it might be?
Oh, you left out the most powerful element in the Dallas Cowboys. I see. Carry on, then.

Dear fellow fanzone freaks---consider we pick up Surtain who just ran a 4.42 pro day...couple him with Diggs and Brown...we got neal hybrid safety weakside LB...we pick up Hooker and Kazee to go along with Wilson who brings the wood....and i believe we have the most formidable DB backfield in the league

what say you all?

your favorite fanzone freak GORICO
Ah..this is like bragging before a single snap to eval what we have.

No no..no.

Have you not learned anything being a fan of this team.

Everybody thinks Quinn is going to suddenly wave his hand and create an Uber defense.

I am not so sure.

What we really need is for Quinn to be HC and demote Big Mike to OC and have him call the plays and demote Moore to head waterboy.Huge mistake with Moore controlling so much. Of course Moore is our next HC rest assured. We all see that coming.

Then we have a staff that has a chance to win. Making McCarthy HC was a mistake. He was not ready. His staff he assembled was completely deficient in 2019.He made us a clown act.

Quinn as HC brings more current NFL trends to our team. His failures in Atlanta were multi dimensional not to mention Matty their QB to me the lynchpin player they had and when he choked so did the franchise. Sort of like we are having Dak as our lynch pin.Dak is being setup to fail if you ask me.

As Dak goes so do the Cowboys. Same situation as Matty Ice.

Scary I think.he has to play like Aaron Rogers for us to win.

i totally hear you on Hookers injury history...but just maybe this could be a year he stays healthy.....i am thinking since he is only 24 or 25 he has good chance of having at least one healthy season in front of him?...
Nope. I’m tired of thinking you can get cheap talent when they are often hurt. Number one ability is availability. Besides, Atlanta’s defense was t good last year. Wasn’t Dan Quinn coaching them? Just makes me wonder.

JBS---- finally someone courageous enough to go optomistic....what if we had a miracle year that no one really got injured and the defense and offense "gelled"?....conference championship baby at least?
I like your optimism but what if half a dozen other teams gelled also? This is the talk we hear every year for the last quarter century.

Seems like a hot take. Not sure we would even have the best in the division and definitely not the league.
We wouldve had the best in the division if they signed a real safety but.........

I think you are right, but Horn in a trade down would be ok with me.
If I could trade back just a couple spots and liked the odds of still getting Horn than by all means, but I have no problem just taking Horn at 10
if they really want him.

Yeah..last year we were CeeDee Lamb crazy. Could have had the safety or whatever in 2020. Nah. We like our sizzle.same thing will happen this year. We do the unexpected on Draft Day. Remember Wolf Hunter and Jaylon. It's about to happen again. Just watch and try not to act surprised when it happens.

Jaycee Horn is a stud too. Horn, Fairley or Surtain and we will be much improved. But I would take Pitts if he was there and Stokes in 2nd rnd. Man that would be good....

I will not believe the DBs are anything special until they prove it on the field.
We always pump ourselves up for let down, don't we?
We've been saying this about the offense since 2014. :(

Sorry, we see posts like this every year on this forum and most of the time never see it transpire on the field. I like the idea but will believe it when I see it.

I also as much as I would love them to, I have doubts that Dallas drafts Ssrtain, my bet is they draft Farley or even more likely they go in a completely different direction. Them Jones boys just like to show everyone they a smarter than the common draft board would say. Too bad they aren't.
