I bet those who want Pitts at 10 wanted Zeke at 4 in 2016...

Zeke at 4 was not totally stupid. We immediately had a good year and went to the playoffs, mostly behind Zeke's performance. If he didn't get suspended, he would've dominated in year 2 too. That was with practically no other real weapons on the team, and we were built to be a running team. So it made sense that we have an elite RB. Yes, he looks like he's diminished right now, which happens to coincide with our move to passing offense, but even that story isn't completely written yet.

Point is, if you have a chance to take a playmaker, you should probably take it, because they'll put points on the board and that goes a long way to covering up other deficiencies.

That said, I was all-in on Zeke at 4, but am not with Pitts. I won't lose it if we draft him, and I completely get why we would, but I do have other players I prefer

Not even remotely so in my case.
Almost the opposite

Pitts is a total unicorn. He may be the best, most unstoppable WR in this class as well as the best TE

Zeke was a very good RB. We could've gotten Henry a full round later...so Ramsey (or Bukner) AND Henry

Plus, we were not picking Zeke 10th...which is WAY cheaper than 4th. In fact the 4th overall equals the 10th plus a high 2nd rounder.
If we'd traded down to 10 and gotten Zeke (he'd probably have been gone through) then that would've been much better...imo.

Pitts will be MegaTron/Randy Moss type player for whomever selects him. The kid is 6’6”and runs like a WR. Who the hell can stop that in football?!?

NFL.com has him ranked right behind Lawrence

1 Lawrence 7.4
2 Pitts 7.19
3 Smith 7.15
4 Chase 7.05
5 Surtain II 7.02

Overview
While the player comparison for the purposes of this scouting report is Darren Waller, Pitts may have the traits and talent to create mismatches similar to those created by Calvin Johnson and Tyreek Hill. His rare blend of size, athleticism and ball skills are reminiscent of Megatron’s. His ability as a pass-catching tight end could force defenses in his division to alter the way they construct their roster. He’s a tough matchup for most linebackers and too big for most cornerbacks. He offers offensive coordinators the ability to align him all over the field and, like Waller, can become a highly targeted, highly productive pass catcher from the tight end position. He puts in effort as a blocker but with limited success. That’s not what makes him special, though. Along with Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence, Pitts has a chance to become the biggest game-changer in the 2021 NFL Draft.

I’d have no problem at all taking Pitts at 10 but I see no way he falls that far. I doubt he gets to us at 10 though.

Eagles would trade up to #9 to get him away from Dallas.... Doesn't that make sense!?
