How Good is the OL If Fully Healthy?

A lot of people are focusing on the health of the OL, but I want to take this a different direction. Let’s say every OL on the team, including depth players, is healthy. How good is our OL?
It's good enough to win if fully healthy. We have not had our best OL playing for 3 years and have repeatedly been exposed. Somehow the OL needs a quantum leap if Dak is going to have a good year. Zeke has to start getting 100+ yards in games again regularly. Until that returns to us Dak throwing for 4000 yrs and our top 3 WRs each getting a 1000 each will not be enough to become a top 5 team again. That's a tall order looking at where we are with an unproven coach and his staff struggling like they are
That has to settle long before TC.
Just my 2 cents.

Hopefully we’ll find out this year. Too early to say right now.

when fully healthy the line is in the top 5....it used to be the best but there have been some cracks even when healthy but make no mistake the line does not suck when fully healthy and more than capable of beimg the strength of the team

I might look hard at drafting a guy like Landon Dickerson at center from Bama. He is a mauler. Has longevity. Folks might be assuming way too much about our oline being fine. Im not sold on Tyler B either. I think I would make him a guard right now. Rather go get a bigger thug type to start there in Dickerson. Not sure Tyler is quite strong enough to take the pounding to start yet. Guess we will see.
IIRC, Tyler B had the highest ratings ever for a center in college. His hip injury has held up his progress, but he should be fully healed this year.

We know the answer. It was already declining before 2020..so knowing what we know, the answer is not good enough. We pretend that all will be fine IF IF IF this happens or whatever..but history has shown us that Tyron cant stay healthy. We saw Collins basically crap the bed in the offseason with just poor decisions..THEN a car wreck..then hip surgery. NO WAY should we count on him to walk into the line up a full go as the old Collins. That is farcical. We need to take the blinders off and draft us a cat that potentially can step in day 1 and takeover in case hes not right.
Love people who lap up what any idiot on the internet or media blurts as long as it is what they want to hear.

I'll give them Top 12. They have to solidify the interior (LG, C), and that's the question mark in regards to how good the OL can be, in this scenario.

Not elite, but solid. Connor Williams had his struggles and we don’t know about Biaz yet

is looney even in the team? And don’t forget McGovern. He will factor in somewhere

McGovern should be competing for C and LG. Maybe C more than LG, really. Was just better than Biadasz last year.

Williams became a quality LG. Ranked 16 of 80 Gs by PFF. He's not the same player who got routinely rolled as a rookie.

Looney played well early in the season, ironically while others stank it up, but ran out of gas. Nice depth to have around. He'll get an extra 1.25 mil of veteran cap exemption and stick around, but it better be as depth.

I can definitely see another interior oline pick this year, round 3-4. Williams in a contract year. Can't pay another oline player a free agent contract. Need to keep the rookie contract oline players coming.

Williams was solid, on a crapfest of an oline. PFF 16/80. I don't consider him a question anymore.

Biadasz is. Should compete with McGovern, who was ok last year. I could see us taking a C/G, maybe even fairly high, to compete with Biadasz and McGovern for C. Fastest way to improve the oline this year. Let McGovern takeover at LG next year. Biadasz is the new Looney.

Fully healthy top 5, weak link is Williams but McGovern may catch him this year. But health is a concern at T, think we could see them tackle as high as #44 if a guy like Cosmi, Leatherwood or Eichenberg is sitting there, especially if they are able to trade back in RD1.

Biadasz looked pretty good last year before injury.

With Philbin as oline coach this offense will score enough points. Providing the disclaimer of injuries does raise its head again

That’s obviously a very relevant question going into the 2021 season. But the question I hope is driving this FO to action is this: “How much depth will we need to have in place IF our entire OL is NOT healthy?” This Jones leadership team always seems to think like us fans do- we all want to believe the best. But good FOs are prepared for the worst.

I would love to see Creed Humphrey in the second round.

I feel top 5 offensive line and good enough to be the backbone for the team.

I'm really excited to see a healthy Dak, Lamb, Coop, Gallup, Jarwin, Schultz, offensive line.

Don't forget last year Cooper wasn't 100% and we started the year with Collins out. We never got to see what the whole healthy group could do. So those gaudy numbers that Dak and the rest of the offense put up in the first 4 games is not representative of what they can really do.

I'm excited for next season.

They can be excellent when healthy and sorely wanting, when they're not.

We'd better draft a promising OT at some advantageous point in the draft.

It has a chance to be the best if Tyron Smith is healthy (big if). The right side should dominate , Collins and Martin is the best duo in the league, imo. Biadaz we'll see what he has and Connor has been average. If one of those two breakout and Smith stays healthy for 15 games...as good as anyone.
