Could Parsons be the sneaky pick at #10? Cowboys have talked a lot about improving the front 7 and run defense. Could the Keanu claim about WSLB be a smoke screen for their interest in Parsons?

With 5 quarterbacks going in the top 9 picks there is a chance Sewell, Pitts, Parsons, Surtain, Slater, and one of the Alabama receivers will be there at 10. I like our chances at 10.

Now, if the draft doesn't fall that way, can we ditch this BPA farce? No such thing, every team has a position board based on their needs. Happens in every draft and will happen in this one. Players fall because teams pass them by addressing a need.

Few teams had Lamb on their big board outside the top 15 and many had him in the top 10. Where did he get picked? Why? Because BPA is a creation of fans, not NFL GM's.

Be a GM and go BPA and explain to your owner that you didn't fix his defense but you get a swell WR. The only ones that can go BPA have multiple needs.

The Cowboys need D players and OL, as long as they don't go skill position, they're good for BPA.

Couple of things jump out at me:

-He has Slater listed as a Tackle, where in the past he had him as a Guard. I bet Kiper has heard inside the NFL Circles, many teams view him as a Tackle prospect.
-Notice where all the corners are, in the late teens. If the Cowboys take a corner at 10, it's reaching to fill a need.
-He didn't even have Grant in his top 10 last time, now he's #2. Milton is another who wasn't on his list before.
-How can I take Kiper serious when he still has Wade as a top 10 corner.
-Jamin Davis seems to be the biggest riser on many boards, late rd pick to a #1 pick by many.

You don't.

The BPA people just talk to talk. They can never provide examples of good teams doing that without need attached.

The corner part is Kiper’s opinion. Zerlien has Surtain as a top 4 pick and Daniel Jeremiah has him rated 10th. Some teams will have Surtain in the top 10 while others will have him in the teens. I bet the Cowboys have Surtain in there top 8. The Cowboys will also have him ahead of Slater but I bet they have Sewell as their top pick overall. Kiper just moved Farley to the number 1 cornerback position. That makes no sense at all. I still believe 5 quarterbacks are going in the top 9 so we will get a stud at 10 no matter what.
