If Kyle Pitts is there he's got to be taken....perhaps not by the Cowboys. What I see is the ability to move down a few notches while picking up an extra high draft pick, either a 2nd rounder or even next season's 1st round pick.
There will definitely be some fallout from so many teams moving up, with up to 5 QB's in the top 12-15 picks. The Cowboys could drop down to 15 and still get a CB they like.
I know the Cowboys shouldn't think about QB. However, on a rookie contract, the right guy would be a tremendous backup as well as quality trade bait in his 3rd or 4th season. He also acts as insurance in case Dak digresses due to his injuries. I hope not.
I'm disappointed in the lack of DT depth. I think this is where the Cowboys would have focused two of their top three picks if the quality had been there.
