Where do you see Parsons fitting in if Dallas drafts him? WLB? He looks great to me but at 6’3 246 he seems like he has a tough time changing directions.

So do you bulk him up and play him as a rush Will Lb, like Dware and play that hybrid 34....he already runs a 4.39, I think he could be real good on the edge. Or maybe try him at MLB...I’m not sure that’s his best position or that he’s that fluid of a cover lb

I don't think Parsons is DWare. I think Parsons is Lavar Arrington all over again.

Players do not go from playing up and off the ball in college to down and on the ball face up with an offensive linemen in the NFL. Parcells said the only two guys to do that were Jason Taylor and Charles Haley.

He’s a WLB and IMO the best defender in the class.

Why draft a LB at 10 just to try and make him a player he isnt?

OMG no. Wolfie n Jaylon need to be on the edge where they can stay healthy, maybe.

Parsons has stop and start redirect explosiveness.(Scout's words, not mine). I really don't see how you concluded that he has a tough time changing directions. Pretty much everyone disagrees w/ you.

He's a prototypical MLB.
I don’t doubt that he can play that position. But I would start him on the weak side. Likely. Moot point because I don’t see this team drafting a LB. If we did he would be my 1st choice.

What scout? What I see is change of direction is his weakness. He’s tall and heavy, I’m concerned about his change of direction to the point I worry about his ACLs, but if he can blitz straight ahead to me that’s what he’s best at. I would blitz him every play that’s why I brought up about a possible edge rusher...I really like him at MLB though and if he’s gonna be a MLB I’m on board with that.

Why would you change his position? Not understanding.

I'm not making any sense out of what you're saying. Parsons is 6-2, not particularly tall and weighs 245, not particularly heavy. Are you thinking of someone else possibly? Because what you're saying doesn't jive.

"The agility and balance he possesses sets him apart."

Pretty much the exact opposite of what you're saying. Like I said, you must have mixed him up w/ someone else.

I’m probably picking him apart too much, if Parsons is there I draft him, but I’m a big fan of LBs. Just trying to think about how he would develop. Running a 4.39, if you’re not worried about his change of directions then you could bulk him up into a monster mlb or slim him down into a 238lb lightning fast all over the field playmaker. Maybe just leave him where he is, he’s a mlb for sure and that’s good enough but he’s best shooting a gap and getting to the ball.

Parsons did play DE in HS, and yes it is a different world from HS and college but he does play better going down hill than running around with TE's and WR's.
He does have 6.5 sacks and 6 FF in 2 seasons. He has short arms so I don't think he could play as a DE, but whoever drafts him should use him like Devin White.
