I was listening to sportstalk radio in the Philly area today and the two hosts agreed that Mike McCarthy is the worst coach in the division. Even took their coach over him because they said he has a chance to be good whereas McCarthy doesn't. I understand that it's Philly but is this the conventional wisdom throughout the league? I was very happy when they hired him because he has a pedigree and one covid-influenced season is not changing my mind. What are your thoughts?

I give all HC’s 3 years before making a judgement. I thought MM did a pretty good job last year with all the Covid issues and disastrous injuries.

There is your mistkae. Listening to Philly sports raidos Kidding aside, McCarthy is legit. Him and Rivera are neck and neck. Both great coaches. Wish my Giants had either of them.

Rivera is the best coach in the division, hands down. McCarthy might be second but only because Judge and Sirianni blow.

Worse than second year Judge AND the mumbling goon from that hilarious presser?!? McCarthy at least has a ring! I think the delusional bias is kinda obvious!

What makes Rivera a better coach then MM? Washington finished 1 game better then us and the Giants with the second best defense in the league. With the injuries to the Cowboys, Eagles and the Giants last season, the Football Team was the most talented team in the division at the end. People seem to forget that Washington collapsed at the end of the season. They lost to a tanking Carolina team and should have lost to Philadelphia.
