I see thread after thread about being able to trade Gallup for a top draft pick and can’t for the life of me figure out why.
He’s a very good but not Pro Bowl esque WR and he’s going into the last year of his deal.
You can find guys like him anywhere in the first 3-4 rounds of the draft ESPECIALLY considering the savings to the cap.
I really like Gallup in this offense and with the cap going up maybe they find a way to keep him around, but he’s not a #1 WR like people think. He’s never had more than 6 TDs in a season.
You could probably get a 4th-5th round pick for him. Gallup is the perfect personification of how WRs are like RBs used to be. You can plug any good one in and get close to 1,000 yards.
The reason you want to trade him is the same reason teams won’t give up the farm for him.
