I felt all flushed with fever, embarrassed by the crowd
I felt he'd found my letters and read each one out loud
I prayed that he would finish, but he just kept right on
Strumming my pain with his fingers
Singing my life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly
Telling my whole life
Killing me softly...

Roberta Flack or the Fugees?

8th pick is up for grabs now. A team needing a CB can jump Dallas if Surtain is their guy. It also means, that if a team wants another "blue chip" caliber player, they can move up to 8.

Anyone know off hand what the Panthers needs are now that QB is addressed?

I'm here in Charlotte. The Panthers need OL help in the worst way. Quick fact: The Panthers took all defensive players last year.

Yeah, I'm going to guess, especially with this trade, that they're going to draft either Sewell if he falls to their spot or Slater to insure their QB.
There is zero chance they would pass on Sewell. Why get the QB if you can’t protect him? Sewell is a no risk prospect.

Pitts won’t last last Miami’s pick and I doubt the Cowboys would pick a WR in round one. I go Slater if he’s available. Plenty of good CB’s and S to be had in rounds two and three. Let’s sure up that oline first as otherwise all that money invested in QB, RB and WR will be a waste.

I think Darnold to Carolina just put Slater out of reach for us too, unless Sewell drops to the Panthers.

Agreed. Slater would be the pick for Carolina IF Sewell is gone. I expect Sewell to go to Cincy to protect Burrow. Pitts is going to be a Dolphin I think. So, Slater is the choice for Carolina I think. So, that's good because it means hello Surtain for us imo!

Best case scenario, in your opinion?

Just an educated guess for where I think the draft goes. The Panthers have an awful oline. If they're going to have a chance to compete with Brady, they will need to have better protection in both the pass and the run. Sewell or Slater would help them there.

Sad that such an ignorant post about the draft process got a lot of likes.

It's why I don't talk much draft anymore.

Sam's prayers have been answered! Lol...

After glancing at the Panthers depth chart I think they go Slater to help that OL. Yes, they need a CB badly, but you have to protect the QB and create lanes for #22.
