A linebacker wearing #9 means lots of sacks for 3qtrs and give up hail mary in 4th qtr last second to lose the game.
What exactly has he done to deserve to be public enemy #1? If the worst thing you can say about him is that he underachieved after he got paid than yeah maybe he should wear #9 because Romo didn't do ANYTHING once he got paid other than get benched for Dak......It’s well deserved. The problem with Jaylon is doesn’t even realize it....

Yeah I love Romo, but him having 54 is worse!Good. He can quit disrespecting 54
I tell you why he bugs me so bad....and it may be perception...but his head seems elsewhere or more about the brand. Here’s a guy easy to root for...went to a top college, had a devastating injury, fought back...we all want to see that movie. But his self awareness is severely lacking especially on the field. He doesn’t make enough real plays to swipe, over celebrate 2 yard stops, celebrate over injured guys etc. If he made mistakes but just kept digging I’d be more forgiving but he actually thinks he’s good and all and seems oblivious to his short comings all the while building his brand
It should be an immediate benching for anyone posting a picture of this idiot.
Seriously? One of the most unlikable Cowboys ever.
So basically you don't like that he swipes lol? I just don't get it man. This whole team celebrates. Was LVE not the one doing the wolf howl after plays he made? Zeke with the "Feed me"? Two underachievers too. It is what it is I'm not trying to change your opinion of the guy your opinion is made up I just personally don't know how this guy became the worst when he has sucked just like the whole team has....
I was a big Romo fan from the first moment I saw him play, and I think he was a much better quarterback than the team results showed throughout his career.
Romo had really good stats over the years, but he never reached the "special" level that deserves protection of his jersey number.
As much as I liked and respected Romo, Irvin's 88, Woodson's 28 and Ware's 94 numbers were more deserving of protection than Romo's 9 and those numbers have been worn by other players without any hesitation.
About the only real argument you could make for any Cowboy's player over the last 15 years to have their number protected would be Witten's 82, but even that is not without its debates.
AMEN. This clown is already trying to rebrand and market himself using the number change. Shows you where his head is. Me thinks he better work on his craft instead of worrying about his number and marketing strategy. You can only fool the fans for so long and no shell game like changing your number will work. How you play matters.I don't care which number he wants. There's more important matters than this to put a burr under my saddle.
True, and why should he even care as long as Jerry is happy? lol...WHO has held him accountable? We sorely need leadership on defense to reign that dude in and get him focused. This is why signing a guy like KJ Wright is vital in the short term, IMO. He won't tolerate bs.It’s well deserved. The problem with Jaylon is doesn’t even realize it....
I forgot Romo wore 9. How many NFC Championship games and Super Bowls he played in the NFL?The added bonus to this request is watching the inevitable pissing match between Romo haters and Romo lovers.
