How many 1st rd grades this yr?

He doesn't mean Barmore won't be a first round pick, hes saying he doesn't have a first round grade. Most drafts only have 18-24 first round graded players.

i agree but my point is that if he is picked in rd 1 then some team has him ranked as a first rd prospect and Horn is suddenly a first round graded CB but i bet you he wouldn’t be if Farley hadn’t had surgery

people tell us all year how we should draft front 7 and shouldn’t fall in love with the underwear olympics and yet when it comes time everyone does exactly that

I’m taking Barmore all day before I take Horn

Which is cool and you might be right, but from listening around the league, most people have Horn ranked way higher than Barmore. I mean Barmore wasn't even playing on running downs, so his team didn't trust him against the run. I would have loved to have had a solid DT prospect or two available to us at 10, but unless we trade down I don't see it happening with Barmore

QB (4) Lawrence, Wilson, Fields, Lance
RB (0) (probably high 2nd rd grades)
TE (1) Pitts
WR (3) Chase, Waddle, Smith
OL (4) Sewell, Slater, Darrishaw, Tucker
DE (2) Ojulari, Paye (think medicals drop Phillips)
DT (0) (Believe Barmore receives a high 2nd rd grade)
LB (2) Parsons, JOK (Think Collins/Davis get 2nd rd grades)
CB (2) Surtain, Horn
S (0) (Moehrig, Grant, Holland are 2nd rd players)

18 (might be too high)

When the Cowboys are on the clock, most likely all 18 are gone, but there should be a few with high 2nd rd grades.

I’m not an NFL Scout do have no idea.

Unless the back is a top five player, he usually is taken late rd 1, early rd 2. Could see Miami take one at 18, but that would be the absolute earliest.

My definition of a first round grade may differ.
