I second that. I will neither read nor listen to anything he’s associated with. It will be a great day when he’s finally gone.

I don't listen to him, nor many other shows. Usually can read tidbits about the shows on here.
I don't mind reading some of his articles, but I do not make it a point to check the website everyday or even every week to do so. Just so happen to go on their today for the 1st time in a few weeks.

I understand why many don't care for his articles or how he is on shows. But it doesn't bother me, since I do not listen to him. Maybe it would if I did listen more than what little I have. I Just read the occasional article if it seems like a good read.
This was one of them IMO. No fluff, nor rah rah, just an opinion on a LB in the draft as opposed to a CB. No different than anyone else that has posted on here.

Mickey is still a butt kissing jackwagon. If Jerry picks another TE, knowing full well how much help they need on the defensive side, Mick will still be the first in line slobbering all over Jerry and telling everyone what a great pick it was.
Mick is a traditional yes man and will never jeopardize his paycheck. Plus he's a jerk honestly. I have heard he's difficult to work with. Bill Jones may be the only guy that has the wherewithall to tolerate him.

------- He refuses to have an open mind and he thinks he's the smartest guy in the room.

He wants you to think he is the smartest guy in the room, but I can assure you that he does not believe it himself.....he is a very insecure little man.

All the game changing talent is on offense and we need to trade up because it's not falling to 10....
I would rather use our draft capital to move up as much as possible to get quality over quantity.
Even if it means 10 picks turns into 6 or 7 picks,

Maybe so, but as I said, just a decent article with an opinion, do they have to pick a CB, why not the best player, since there is depth.
I can care less if he sides with Jerry on the pick or not. As there will be many on here that will side with Jerry, and many that will not side with him.

Absolutely. Please don’t take my comments about Mickey as any criticism of you. I appreciate you and everyone who shares information with their fellow fans. I feel that is when we - and this forum - are truly at our best.

I'd be good with trading down....we need defense and getting to for the price of one would be great.

In the trillion and a half draft simulators I have done, pathetic I know, I trade down about 80 pct of the time. The only time I don’t is when Sewell slips to me and a couple times for Pitts. I hold my nose when I draft Pitts. Usually means I grab Horn later in Rd 1 or Little, Radunz, or Jenkins real late in round one. I go heavy DT and LB in rounds 2-4. Not sure why I am typing this because it means absolutely nothing.

thats not his game. His game is around the line of scrimmage and coming off the edge when he needs to. He's a faster Nick Bolton. Not a ton of difference between them except Parsons has experience coming off the edge as an end at times.

So does Jaylon..

We have a player with this skill set and when not asking him to rush the passer he is horrible.

Parsons is a complete projection in this department which makes him far too risky to use a pick on in round 1.

Mickey is like the sheet that gets buried in your boot treads. The stuff that won’t come out even when you poke a stick at it.

You’ve got company! I’ve been doing a ton of mocks myself. I usually regret the rest when Pitts is there and I draft him.

Jaylon is awful and whiffs on tackles and his reads, no matter where ya line him up. He doesnt play football very well and Im not sure Football means enough to him as his social standing and side ventures do. Parsons HAS to be better than that. lol.

No criticism taken at all. And agree, we are all here for discussion, and to find the latest news / info.
I am just waiting for the schedule release though it may not be until May, and the draft. Hopefully the next 3 weeks, or a little less actually, goes quick.

I don't know. The team needs good soldiers. There is not enough cap money to have superstars at every position. I'd take the two good!

That's the thing, we don't have superstars anywhere besides maybe WR. We have players paid like them however.

Pitts is that shiny object that is being dangled that we MAYBE should stay away from. I think ATL will take him at 4.

Mickey, like a lot of people, still think football is played like it’s 1995.

I completely disagree on forcing defensive picks.

The NFL is not built for teams to play good defense and it’s sure as heck not built to put out consistently good defenses.

Dallas will sit in cover 3 all game and make teams dink and dunk their way down the field like we did before and that’s probably the meta style of defense in the modern game.

If it’s not a pass rusher then I think it’s foolish to force a draft pick over an offensive player like Pitts, Sewell, and Slater.

I agree. As long as you're not giving up one outstanding player for two good one's. But if there was any draft where trading down looks look, it's this one.
Cowboys will have to determine a) which top prosepects are outstanding, then b) rank them in order of impact to their roster if selected.

If he wasnt an absolute jerk he would be tolerable. He has a way of diminishing others opinions that do not match up to his own. Classic short mans complex I think. Trying to fight his way out of a wet paper sack lol..to get someone to tell him how great he is. He's the worst kind of team writer...no objectivity.

Parsons and Jaylon shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence.

I totally agree. It screws the whole thing up because I need to draft at least 2 LBs, a DT and a CB that can help year one. Can’t get there if you don’t have the extra picks.
