I didn't say anything contrary to that.
You kinda did. BPA completely ignores scheme, needs, super bowl contention, and a pile of other considerations needed to get into consideration.

Chris Jones was not BPA. W/o him, Chiefs don't win the super bowl.

They don’t suck at FB. That’s the most frustrating part. One guy is always hurt and watched the other guy dog it so now he dogs it. The other guy got his contract and decided his brand building was the priority and best not take too many chances on the football field.
He meant LB.

Until they hone their craft and take FB seriously, their play stinks. For people to expect better results with the same failed players is just dumb. They are what they are. They are content fat cats and results dont matter that much to them. Jaylon walks around laughing after a loss...just makes me sick that he has no passion no mean streak..no alpha dog in him.

You can do both I think. Stay true to your draftboard with BPA thing and fill holes. My gut tells me our DB is stacked high with defensive guys top to bottom, with Pitts and maybe a couple olineman being an exception.

Mickey's latest, on drafting the BPA on defense and not gearing it toward a CB.
Makes some good points on 3 different LB's. And that depth in the 1st 2 rounds at CB & LB gives the Cowboys some options.

However I think they could trade down from 10 an still grab one of the 3 LB's, as well as CB's.

Nothing rah rah here for you haters to whine about, just some good info.

Define “Hater” so i know which answer would be best, or what opinion to share.

That's your own ignorant philosophy getting in the way of sound Vulcan football logic.

Wouldnt be shocked to see LVE cut or traded. I doubt we will pick up his 5th year option and pay him 10 million or whatever that is. He doesnt deserve it. I would trade him now and get something for him.

Not really. BPA is just a fan thing, it's not a draft strategy. People just get off to saying it for some very odd reason.

The Wolfhunter is going to have a bounce-back year in 2021.

Turning to childish insults makes any point you're attempting to make moot. I think you can do better than your last trash post. No?

IMO it depends how our draftboard is stacked. We just dunno what we think about them. Yes we are guessing..we are fans lol. But as fans we are pretty smart. We have seen how awful this team is defensively.

Mickey makes some good and obvious points but can’t help himself with the following take:

“There is fifth-year linebacker Jaylon Smith, who was just signed to a five-year extension in 2019, but comes with some limited ability, even though he was the team's leading tackler the past two seasons.

I was being completely serious, You hold your own opinion in too high regard when it comes to football drafting philosophy.

If we don’t take a CB at #10, I’d prefer Phillips over Parsons. That said, I’ve been pimping Parsons for a long time on this board.

If Parsons is legit I would select him at 10. Now I like Surtain, however MLB with extreme range and instincts are rare. With talent available in th he 2nd round at CB this draft is shaping up to be a tough call.

Parsons has even played edge. I never knew that til I watched some tape. He has great instincts and range. He DOES play with a mean streak. His off the field stuff might make some pause.
