What is Billick talking about? The Cowboys drafting DeVonta Smith to add another WR target for Dak? Has Billick looked at the Cowboys roster? I like DeVonta Smith a lot, but he is CeeDee Lamb all over again. Maybe Smith is a little speedier but I don't see where he fits on the Cowboys roster. The only way they draft Smith is if they trade one of their other receivers, like Gallup. But if they get a 3rd round pick for Gallup I would be shocked.

It was a brainless take by Billick.

Slater did specifically say the Cowboys liked Ossai, Moehrig, and Payton Turner for what it’s worth.

Quite from Turner himself:

“I’ve spoken to every team at least twice…but the Jaguars, Cowboys, and Eagles stand out. I’m confident in my ability and every coach I’ve talked to is high on my versatility…but it would be my dream to stay home [Houston] and play for your hometown team.”

Turner has been moving up the draft board. I've seen Moehrig available in round 2 and safeties do tend to fall.

I am not a big fan of Ossai. Turner is athletic. And the fact that the Eagles are interested in him is a positive because they seems to be a little better drafting DL than Dallas. Do the Cowboys see Turner as Lawrence's replacement in a year of two? In any case, the Eagles have #37, are they planning on taking him there, ahead of Dallas?

I like both guys. Ossai I like because of the hustle

NFL just flipped them in the rankings. Turner was moved up to 40 with a starting grade and Ossai dropped to 54.

If they take a WR I think it'd be Waddle. He's the fast WR we've been lacking for a while.

They did once take a Dallas ahead of Dallas.

Taking a WR no matter who is a new level of stupidity. If they do, it shows that the FO has learned zero in the past 25 years on how to build a roster. We would be doomed to 25 more years of ineptitude...

Billick is clearly mailing it in. Time to stop paying him for such a poor effort.

Turner is an excellent prospect. Can he play multiple spots at a high level. I am hoping he lasts to 75, but think he will go late rd 2.

I'd love to have Devonta Smith IF we didn't have Lamb and other needs.
